I have one of those we put on a dolly rather than a backpack. Good multi-use tool for everything from roofing to weed killing.

They aren't great for clearing large areas of ice/snow though, they'll go through a $20 bottle of propane in no time. However, if you need to thaw something out, they are invaluable.

Yeah. They are pretty awesome for lighting bonfires, giving you the opportunity to own a legal flamethrower, piss off the wife, and not much else.

Went out to clear out sidewalk and quickly realized whatever concoction of ice, sleet, and snow Lexington got isn’t going anywhere without some type of powered machinery.

Guess I’ll circle back this weekend afterwards get through our 3rd ice storm in a week.

My driveway is a block of crusted snow/ice that ain’t going nowhere anytime soon. Fortunately not much elevation there.

But yeah if I had a flame thrower I’d be giving it hell.

-played tennis in 35 degrees last week...because it was fun/i enjoy it. Was in high 20's with wind in Ark when i was goose hunting last month...again it was fun.

^in short i only do things i dont *have* to do if i enjoy them. Also: something about a Ted talk.

-I know how to do all that shit, in fact short of 80 I'd put myself up there with anyone when it comes to DIY. I just get no enjoyment out of gardening, lawn work, mowing, etc. Glad you all do but not for me. Coming home to an always perfectly manicured lawn/ landscape is MUCH more enjoyable and makes me an excellent neighbor. Other than lawn care, I'm not sure what labor I would be doing. Be more specific.

-If "guy I don't know" would like to accompany me to the gym we can find out if I lift or not. Bonz was there with me last week, he can update you. He's got me in great shape and held accountable. At the point now where working out every single day is just a part of life. I assume those aren't priorities for you, but looking at 40 and no god given advantages in metabolism, it's a great thing for me.

-Ordered a few meals from Jacked Nutrition here in Lexington. Had to change the lunch routine up and came recommended by a friend. Customizable, healthy, individually packaged, local ingredients.

- After all the talk about NextDoor being hilarious, I downloaded it a few weeks ago. Apparently my neighborhood is very congenial and boring, because there is no hilarious hen drama or "Nightmare Next Door" scenarios to be found. SAD!

- So the weather dudes definitely whiffed on that storm, but the people going after them like they personally murdered Santa Claus and waved St. Nick's bloodied disembodied head over their children's beds for being wrong is HILARIOUS to me. Learn upper atmospheric temperatures changing forecasts, rubes. (Ol' "omg we're getting 17", Cincinnati!!!" kinda deserves mocking, though.)

- I shoveled out around my car, which was easy because I park on the street and the plows did most of the work. Thanks, Mr. Plow.

- That name again...is Mr. Plow.

Think the zombie spider shovels his driveway?

I can tell you with damn near 100% certainty who didn't shovel, nocta.

They said they ran out stay but insinuated that they went today. At least that’s how I read it.

All I can say, again, is that we went this morning and they had none visible and were closed. That was at about 1030am.

Jogger

I mean, who runs somebody over with a truck, kills them, throws the body in the truck to go bury them, and then decides to have sex with the corpse before putting them in the ground?

Stay safe out there Jogger friends.
