Can't say I blame anyone for not making the trek all the way from Frankfort to Lexington for the big game . Anyone outside of the Versailles city limits gets a pass for this one. Thursday, shew! #ALLIN

I'm definitely on the Royals' bandwagon. Love to see Cueto get a ring. Too bad it wasn't with the Reds, but he's one of the best pitchers in the game and he'll put on a helluva show for baseball fans.
It's 8am and it's barely daylight. I wish they'd move the end of Daylight Savings Time back to earlier in October. Yeah, it basically kills the evenings, but waking up in what feels like the middle of the damned night is depressing.
My dog is not a fan either. He just went back to bed after going outside to do his business. Didn't even come upstairs to watch the news with me while I enjoy my morning coffee. He usually at least comes up here and goes back to sleep next to my chair.
Went to an economic development committee meeting yesterday and it was brought up that at least one local manufacturer had to begin locking their back door because new hires would leave mid-shift and not come back. That's pathetic. Employers hate millennials.
Probably explains why the United States is inexplicably embracing a socialist. A whole generation feels completely entitled and he's promising everyone the government will provide for you. Uh huh.

Never will forget the "Obama's President now, and we don't have to pay rent!!!!" blast I got back from a new tenant I acquired in a foreclosure deal back in 2008. I already had the deal flipped, so I worked with them as much as possible so they wouldn't ruin the deal. But man, that one was hard to swallow. As a side note, they still haven't paid rent to this day, as they are now part of the city's subsidized housing program. So I guess they were right?
Thought for sure we would have a special uniform for tonight but it doesn't appear so.

Thurs game is incredibly inconvenient & difficult for good working parenting Billy Joe Wildcats out there. But it is a once in a lifetime thing also worth the trouble from my viewpoint. A lot of people can't do it, and I wont beat up on them since their places are gonna be filled and the stands will be packed with those who can. with kickoff at 7 the game will be over at 10:30, maybe 11 at the very very latest. expect to be in my river city garage at 12:30, hell I normally dont go to bed until after 12 most nights anyway. probably stay up & watch UCLA-Stanford ending, we win a close one I'll be too **JaCKeD** for sleep until 2.
They never offered new tickets for sale for this game, guess that means Auburn fan sucked up their entire allotment? So for Billy Joe Tiger, taking 2 vac days along with travelling up to Lex & back no big deal.

- As I have said, I root for stadiums in the playoffs (generally). I'm pretty happy. Wrigley is awesome. Toronto fans have stepped their game up. KC is a pretty solid setting. Dodger Stadium is a Top 5er and Mets fans come strong.
- Seems recruiting is pretty much set- Fox soon, Monk hopefully in the spring- except one more BIG. Who will it be? Bolden? Is Allen emerging as a legit option? Is there any chance at all Bam flips (I know, Tommy)?

I've stopped serving as a job reference for recent college grads because of the amount of times the employer has contacted me two months down the road and let me know how terrible the kid was. These are at all kinds of jobs... accounting, teachers, sales... It seems like this group is far lazier than any other. I know there are exceptions-but as a whole, its not an impressive generation.
