Read these interesting comments on Randle just yesterday after his 16 points,5 rebounds,4 assist and 3 steal game.
Kobe Bryant approached Randle. Bryant bumped Randle’s chest. Bryant lightly tapped Randle’s head. Bryant then wrapped his arms around Randle before shouting words of approval.
“It’s not normal to see a guy that size move his feet so well and have such quick hands,” Bryant gushed after the Lakers’ 117-114 overtime preseason loss to Utah on Tuesday at Stan Sheriff Center. “With him being able to push the ball on the floor and finish, it’s pretty phenomenal.”
So phenomenal that Randle finished the night with 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. So phenomenal that Lakers forward Metta World Peace predicted Randle “can lead this team to the playoffs.” So phenomenal that Lakers center Roy Hibbert called Randle “the future of this team” and “the future face of the NBA.”
“Julius is an animal,” Hibbert said. “That boy can play. The things that he does with his size, pushing the ball up the court, dunking, the sky’s the limit. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
But Bryant has seen something similar. He referenced one significant Laker forward who became instrumental in the franchise’s NBA championship teams in 2009 and 2010.
Said Bryant of Randle: “He’s Lamar Odom in a Zach Randolph body.”
“Obviously he has to learn, and he doesn’t understand everything it takes yet,” World Peace said. “But if he listens, which he does, we can push him to lead.”

-UL fans aren't nervous, they're scared shitless. This is all just a defense mechanism. Understandable. We'd all be beside our self hoping for a bottom 9th, 2 out, bases loaded grand slam. Unfortunately for them Cady/Powell = Rivera.
-Lex really needs a gym on the level of Baptist. The only option we really have is Gold/LA or whatever it's called. Cool place but I'm not really interested in that type of singles gym scene. Probably just keep running but I need to start lifting a bit.

Well, I can't argue too much but I have dropped about 40 lbs since April. Still a lot more to go but at least I stopped my move toward ElamProof.
