-Nike Hoop Summit tonight. Reminder that real recruitballs know that's the game that actually means something. Was our first glimpse at Shai's potential last year. He was a pleasant surprise in that one.

-Still wondering if the Maxey/Hagans situation is a "Hey, we're losing Hami and Shai, we need another ballhandler to add to the mix. First one to reclassify gets it. Other guy comes in a year later and slides right into that spot". The only reason I'm hoping that's the case is b/c Maxey's coach said he didn't think 2018 was gonna happen. Even Ben Roberts of the LHL is saying a reclass is likely. Then again Maxey's dad is gonzo from SMU so never mind forget it.

Anyone else watch “Wild Wild Country” on Netflix and if not wtf is wrong with you

SUMMARY: Red-clad cultists move to Oregon, upset townspeople, have a lot of sex, poison a few folks, ultimately derailed by crazy evil power hungry woman.

* Spring game tonight. I know it doesn't matter, I know they don't keep score, I know a lot players won't be playing, but still.

Football on a Friday night, man. [smoke]

* Also looking forward to seeing Herro & Johnson end some foreigners.

I've read some interviews with the directors and a couple reviews after watching it and was surprised at how many people took the "good people on both sides" line. I mean, those hippies were crazy from the jump.

Also, Sunshine still looking dope even into her AARP years. Good for her and whatever commune of weirdos is currently waxing (for a nominal fee)

-Have to give Matthew Mitchell some credit for signing cute girls: Maci Morris and now Blair Green. [thumb2]

-Democrats screwed the pension system up for decades, and I just don't trust the goons in Frankfort now to fix it (or their intentions for that matter). Also, I like teachers. /fin

-Burgers and chicken last night on the BGE. I cracked a cold one and ended up on my porch drinking by myself until around midnight, ergo the POST storm. Nice little mild Friday hangover never hurt anyone... nice to get a little off center headed into a weekend.

-I'm done F'ng with any kind of cheese on a burger except American. Waste of time. Don't @ me.

-From Crum to Pitino, my entire life UofL has had giants of the sport on the bench. Mack was a good hire, but I'm happy they have a relatively unproven and average Joe kind of coach now. Definitely knocks the prestige of the program down a few pegs, IMO.

-Plans tonight (Omni happy hour and GARAGE BAR) but will wake up early and watch the spring game over a pot of coffee. FYI.

-Haven't eaten it in years, but I respect and like Fazoli's. Always have.

Really hoping Anth's comment about the post office not making a profit isn't related to our President repeatedly lying to the public about Amazon costing taxpayers, etc.

Also hoping that people stop choosing a political "team" and rooting for them to "win" no matter what. Probably a lost cause at this point, but it's undermining our system.

The only team we should all be supporting---> Your University of Kentucky Wildcats!

Not interested in jumping into a political debate....

BUT ---> the logic in the article you referenced is f*cking stupid. This is their ground-breaking conclusion: "While we don’t know the deal USPS crafted with Amazon, we know it’s not losing money."

Ummm, you're "losing" money if you're agreeing to a deal that you're charging anywhere from 15-30% less than the market rate for parcel shipping services (i.e., "For example, Citigroup found that on average, USPS was charging $1.46 below market rates for parcel delivery (not just to Amazon)")....

Is Sunshine the one that had the “older but hot aunt who was def down back in the day”?

The lawyer guy really skimmed over the whole bombing and poisoning stuff imo

I'm not getting political at all, but just because politifact tells me USPS is not losing money on Amazon doesn't make me really believe they are.

Here's a key quote:

"By law our competitive package products, including those that we deliver for Amazon, must cover their costs," an August 2017 USPS press release said. "Our regulator, the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC), looks carefully at this question every year and has determined that they do. The PRC has also noted that competitive products help fund the infrastructure of the Postal Service."

There's "covering their costs", which could mean marginal costs, and even some of the infrastructure costs, but that doesn't give me any clarity that the USPS is truly moving packages for Amazon at a profitable clip. And if you are relying on government run-company that has lost $65B in the last ten years to tell you what's profitable and not...

- Yep. Pretty sure a nude from her prime was briefly flashed on the screen in a later episode as well. She was also insane, as was everyone

- Also yes. Sheela was the pure evil one, but he was by far the most phony spiritual, but actually a condescending cynical prick baby boomer

* Trying desperately to win the insurance services of one of New Orleans, and America's, premier restaurants. Should find out today, and these are the types of victories that make my job very enjoyable.

* Given the demographics of the Commonwealth, the underwhelming appearance of our/your elected officials should catch nobody by surprise.

* I can't even begin to explain to you marrieds just how sexually liberated 20/30/40-something 21st Century Woman is.

* If the USPS loses money, then anyone who uses it by that very nature "costs the taxpayers money," particularly their largest client. Sorry for the common sense so early this morning.

* When I say the re-classifying trend is disturbing, I mean from a competitive position. It's hard enough to win with a bunch of freshman, but now finding kids who are even one year younger as freshman.......talk about an uphill battle.

* Enjoy your near freezing temps this weekend, losers.

* Weekend...

Friday --> Kelly Gibson Foundation Night of Jazz = fundraiser filled with rich old dudes, cougs, and smoking hot lassies working the silent auction.
Saturday --> friends birthday party, then possibly a night in the Quarter with some random lassie
Sunday --> lick wounds. recover.

* Friday the 13th, y'all.

It's like you and I are the exact same person.

Chased strange for 20 years. Was a good run but I’m happily retired from the game. Have at it, brother. I remember the Ws but I also remember meeting some randos who neglected to share the 15 they just packed on.

It’s a young man’s game.

Currently reading "American Oligarchy". A friend just read a similar book "Secret Empires" and basically gave me a play-by-play.

Bottom line, even more disgusted with our system than I used to be. The politicians have made it all about self-dealing and unethical BS, not to mention the lobbyists, insiders and political-media complex.

They're all part of the problem, at every level, federal, state and local. F them all. It seriously makes me consider never voting again for anyone, unless / until

a) they pass term limits;
b) Congress has to live by the laws they impose on everyone else; and
c) they clean up the dirty lobbyist / PAC game.

Even just the first two changes would go light years toward fixing the current problems.

Fat chance of any of those. So, basically never.

As incredibly bright as the Founding Fathers were, they apparently did not expect career politicians.

Our Constitution has so many brilliant safeguards / checks against power, yet they failed to include term limits. Or maybe some tried to include them and were defeated.

-I don't pay attention to a word that imbecile tweets. So no, I didn't hear it from him. Thanks for the corporate tax break and estate tax now stfu and don't blow up the world or wreck the economy.

-Post office has lost at least a billion per year the last 12 years. Any other business either goes under or makes changes to fix the issues and mice on. Mostly because of ridiculous pensions guarenteed by idiots. I dont have anything against postal workers, except for the Duke Rd PO guy, and certainly not against teachers. But you can't just keep digging.

- you realize most of the kids reclassifying have been held back or old for their class? Thay part doesnt bother me as much as running off quality sophmores.

- @SAECATFAN stellar cheeseburger take.

The ease with which I can produce a restaurant quality smash burger, I wont even fire up the grill any longer.
