*How awesome is Cal? UCONN says, "why don't you just enroll this year, play, go pro in 2017." Not so fast my friend. Cal gets back in, convinces him to come early but RS this season and play all of next season. Lol.
*We get a top 10 guy for next year on campus working out in January. Amazing.
*Finish with Knox or Bamba and a grad transfer and/or an instate kid, bring back SKJ, Humphries, Wynrad, Gabriel and watch the hell out. What a front line when you add in the rooks.
*Never doubt Cal on the trail. Even in a year we didn't have good footing.
-We're really the 4 spot committee from entering special territory.
-Mulder is cocky and I kind of love it.
-Monk press or go for 40 Saturday against the Hogs? I think we run them out of Rupp.

5 days smoke free, yes, and that is currently the least of my issues.
Had surgery yesterday and currently in severe pain and apparently will be for the near future -- off work for a week minimal and heavily medicated-- so enough with the jokes, thx.

Can't believe how far that guy has come, and he's now a legit star. We see this EVERY year in the draft, and you just kinda roll your eyes. Some "project" who has a great body, but needs several years to grow into it. Cue up Fran Fraschilla, as he's the only one who can pronounce the guy's name. Athletic, but so raw they're hoping he can learn to shoot layups in Euope before making the trip back to the US.
And of course, he's exceeded every expectation. Awesome.

Technically I think Diallo could go in this draft but it's widely reported that Cal told him it's 2018 or nothing at UK. Currently he's in prep school and has already graduated HS. So the plan is reported to be -> enroll this semester, workout, red-shirt and play 17-18. I can't imagine Cal letting him come here for 1 semester and go to the NBA. Would make no sense.
Unions are f*cking awful and 30+ years outdated. Anything to hurt that nonsense I'm all for. If wages fall it's because they were union inflated to begin with.

Well, this conversation certainly took a turn.
Not really. Pretty hard to ask a HS kid to come in and jump on a team in January, regardless of the role. He's 6-7 months behind at this point. At best he's probably mop up anyway and I don't see a reason to mess up mojo with this team.
Not to mention unrealistic expectations fans would have. He's also pretty low profile so I'm sure it's just easier to say, "I'm not playing this year, I'm just working out with the team," and be done with it rather than be hounded all year about his status.
Is the Sapphire Reserve worth getting if you already have an Amex platinum? Seems like close to the same benefits but the sapphire gives you $100 extra in reimbursements for travel. That $1500 toward travel bonus though pays for 3 years of the card.
