Felt the same about Heritage. It's as good as any public track around here, for sure.

The tourneys are pretty well-run, it's a fun little deal, and a good way to mix some actual stroke play in with all the typical country club bullshit formats.

My only experience at Oak Meadow was rope hooking my drive off the first tee into a class of special education students on the driving range. Then getting into my cart, trying to take a bite of my hot dog and dumping it top down on my brand new pants. Played the entire round with an OB on the first hole and a gigantic mustard stain on my dick and balls region.

Facebook is huge for the facial recognition stuff...which is a big and creepy part of the targeting stuff, but google is like the pioneer of all this creepy stuff, or nah? FB is just a small part of it. So you can axe the FB shit, then you'd have to axe the google shit, then you have the actually phone....

Didn't y'all read about any of that Snowden stuff? I didn't sense he was lying. You can't really hide if you want to enjoy the internet.

That's how I expect it to go. Least favorite course in the entire world.

-Speaking of Pioneers -- Ree is the goat. :fire::fire::fire: If you're in the mood for comfort food, her recipes are 10/10 every single time. Wife worships, and I reap the benefits.

Plus, she's maybe the most soothing thing to put on the background other than golf. #PioneerWoman

IIRC, Ali's son played baseball at U of L just a few years ago and Ali attended a number of games over the years.

Nah, FB is way way more aggressive on pushing the privacy limits than Google, and they know ALOT more about anyone who uses FB regularly than Google. Google has a TON of information as well, but mainly just if you have a gmail account or Android phone. They base most of what they show you just on what you search for, though they will show you personalized stuff you want (easy to turn off). Like if you have a Delta flight coming up with the receipt in your gmail and search delta, it will probably show your flight info in your search results.

FB doesn't give 2 shits about privacy. They will take and use any information you want to give them, and will use to try and make your newsfeed better and make the ads they serve you more relevant. So, if you can get over the creepy part (hint: you will), it's actually making the service better - or at least that's the goal.

Also, it' not like bbdk at Republic Bank or whatever, looking up SAE's charges. Almost nobody at FB can actually see what any one person is doing and track them, it's all computers. I guess if Mark Zuckerberg or some high level engineers decided to stalk you, they could access all that stuff, but nobody is doing that (same with Google). With over 1.5B users, they don't have time to actually worry about what CoolCat or Brax is doing. Especially Brax.

Never did MySpace or Facebook and it drives people crazy. Which is half of the fun...

Same for me. Never really had any interest in the Facebook, and my twitter account is used almost exclusively for reading. The wife did convince me to open an IG account last year for our travel pics and my airplane porn.

Anyone here tailgate in the arboretum lot last year? I like the idea of green space and not having to be exclusively on the asphalt, but it seems pretty remote/cut-off from the game-day atmosphere.

* All of you Louisvillians are a weird bunch. TS.

Gotta be hard walking around with all of those meaningless chips on your shoulder.

It will suck for those of those of you on the good guys side if the Dirty Birds and Ali's ghost win the CWS. Puppies scent.

I'm sure W&W and JHB will keep those of us who don't have to deal with it up to date with what the Jurich run media says about it.

* Went to the Tilted Kilt in Florence last night to have a few drinks with a friend who is moving to Florida. Our waitress was a smokeshow. She is on some reality show on Bravo right now where they took 7 TK waitresses from around the country and put them on a Yacht in the Mediterranean or something like that. That is what she said, anyway. I'm sure Chief knows who she is.

* Just bought some new Wayfarers at Sunglass Hut.

* We got a new mattress yesterday. Decided to forego the gimmicky Bed in a Box thing that some on here were pimping. Went with a pillow top something or other. I thought I'd want the firm, but changed my mind after testing out several brands/models at Macy's.

* I'm proud of Chad and happy for him. I'm just not sure why.

* Enjoy the nice weather.

Another guilty pleasure:

Million Dollar Listing

I can dream about the house or apt I can buy when my 20 shares of Apple pays off.

No clue Willy. What is the show?

We were moved there last year from Purple and were really concerned about it being isolated ... but it's not bad. You have a ton of traffic from everyone parking behind the water tower.

The grass portion is much better than the paved. It's a pretty small lot and there's a good mix of established old curmudgeons and raging early 30's guy to banter with. Also, the trees are a natural wind barrier.

nah man, done with that & all live radio for 8 months now. nothin but podcasts, in the car, jogging, doing yardwork. feel stupid for letting awful local radio & commercials enter my ears before this.

maybe if the freaking #Scuttlebutt will ever fire back up I'll tune in to Capt Suntan for reaction. but loosing faith that anything more ever happens, seems like that whole deal has gone touching dead silent. get Katina back on your show, Mags52.

The show is Below Deck. I actually have a Facebook friend who was a charter guest on that show. I've watched about 15 minutes of it, and it looks completely awful.

Yeah, just looking at the Bravo web page made me realize I will never watch a second of it.

She is very, very hot in person, though. Short, stacked and not a bit classy. Fun and thick in the right places.

.

99% of the chicks that work there are phenomenal, Ive rarely seen an ugly one. And they're all half naked with bangin bodies. Love that place.

My sources(Google) tell me she was on one episode and is a 7.5.

OK, when I go have a beer and some wings with ABH at the Kilt, I'll let her know that Chief Paduke aka UK_Dallas only thinks she is a 7.5.

In person, she is near perfection. Fag.

One of my friends has apparently developed a Black Mike & Kindly like obsession, and has stalked her Facebook. She is in a relationship with another hot chick.

@kybobcat or @JohnBlue_ or some mod - go to the autism thread and save that poor guy. If he's trolling, the thread needs to be shut down. If he truly has autism, The Paddock probably isn't the best place for him to try to make friends. I can't imagine this is going to end well.

-Time to lengthen the Legacy Trail. It's a really nice trail and becoming very popular which is awesome. Congestion is a bit of an issue. Lots of little kids out there riding bikes or walking. Afraid someone is going to get hurt.[/QUOTE]
Lexington is working on the urban portion right now, Gtown has explored taking it from the horse park to their downtown. The trail currently ends at the county line. There is also talk of connecting other trails in Fayette County to the legacy trail, which is the best option.

I'm all for expanded bike trails, lots of does out there riding bikes on country roads. I'm afraid someone Is going to get hurt.

Clearly a troll. Let's see what the Paddock has and if he can get reverse trolled.

Yes, now that he's added two more topics with one being particularly lengthy, he's clearly a troll.

I'm going next month and we're staying in multiple hotels (points). Hyatt Mission Bay and Hyatt in La Jolla. Both appear to be nice. Hyatt MB is a water taxi away from Sea World, which is why we chose that one to start the vacation....oh, and waterslides at the pool for the kiddos.

If loot isn't an issue, I'd go with Hotel Del Coronado. On the beach, bars, shopping, the works really.

Which Hyatt in La Jolla? The one on La Jolla Village Drive at Aventine?
