Interesting fact: the part in 'The Breakup Song' where he just sings nonsense syllables was supposed to be filled with actual words in the final cut but, once recorded with that part included, he and the producer thought it worked so they never rerecorded full lyrics over that part.

Similarly, the whistle part at the end of "Dock of the Bay" was ad-libbed and was supposed to have lyrics, also. But, Otis died before they could 'complete' the song so they left it in.

Sometimes, accidents and mistakes make the song great.
