Give me your credentials for being a UK fan:

I attended almost every game at Commonwealth Stadium during the Curry years. If that doesn’t scream “UK fan”, I dont know what does.

Born and raised in Louisville until my last 3 years of High School and then moved to Vertrees Ky. My mother was an avid UK fan and raised me right. Listened to games on the radio from about 6 years old (66 now) until I could watch them on TV. I have a 17-year-old daughter whose name is Catarena (Look at spelling). We call her Cat.

I'm 40 for reference

- Grandmother, an Alum, was a large $$$ donor. You wouldn't believe me if I told you where her seats were before passed onto @sshole uncle many years ago. It's okay though bc another set of season Tix in the fam through my Uncle working for Athletic Department but even though lower arena its nothing like the fold down padded seat area in first 4 or so rows. Since I lived in Dayton I went to tonssses of games as a child. And have been able to my whole life. For any game, with some advanced timing, I can get free tickets. Brought a UNC fan to the AD blocking Henson game for instance. Kansas last year.

- Uncle, a grad, is the longest tenured person in the athletic department...by a mile. 43 years working for UK football👀

- Parents both went to EKU but were always diehard UK fans. My aunt is a graduate of UK as well. So when born... I was a fan. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

- I am a Michigan State Alum who never rooted for MSU basketball in my life. In fact I root against them usually(think Patrick Sparks Elite 8). In football I hope they do well in the Big10, however if UK played them in football I would want to beat them 100-0. I was at Ford field for the MSU - UK bball game and was in my first year at MSU and sister had just chosen MSU as well. At the end of the game some MSU fans got a little lippy and they didn't know what the hell to say when I said I was an MSU student and she would be the next year.

- Have tasteful UK tattoo

-;

Sorry, I only respect and acknowledge tasteless UK tattoos.

In 1997, I lived in Murfreesboro, TN and couldn’t get a good signal so I drove to the other side of Nashville to pick up the game against Alabama.

I sat in a gravel truck stop in between big rigs and listened to the whole game. The happiness I felt wining that game wasn’t duplicated until 2007. In all places, a truck stop smh.

I was born in Kentucky.
Parents moved to Ohio, but Dad was always a diehard UK fan.
I have followed Kentucky since 1978
Kyle Macy was my hero growing up.
Listened to Kentucky Radio and Caywood Ledford even thru the probation years.
I will always hate Georgetown. The 1984 game was most devastated i ever was as a fan. Thought the Twin Towers were unbeatable. I was 13!!!
I will always hate Duke for Laettner's shot. The Unforgettables was my favorite team.
Jamal Mashburn is the best player I have ever seen wear the uniform.
Rick Pitino was my favorite coach. I know that might not be popular.
The 2011 win over Ohio State is my favorite UK game of all time for a few reasons.
Been to Rupp Arena and Sawyer's Downtown many, many times.
I have suffered thru so many terrible UK football seasons to mention.
Tim Couch is the best player and my all-time favorite Kentucky football player.
Mark Stoops is my favorite football coach because he has made the football seasons enjoyable.
The 2018 Florida, Miss State, and South Carolina games and the 2021 South Carolina, Florida, and LSU games were the 2 most fun times I have ever had being a Kentucky football fan.
The future team that does better than 2018 and 2021 will be my all-time favorite Kentucky football team. It will happen!!!

I'm in the last stage of inventing a real-life inversion time machine so I can go back and slip laxatives into Laettner's meal before the 1992 East Regional Final game.

Third generation fan.

Parents both UK alums.

Parents season ticket holders in men’s basketball and football since the 70s, and women’s basketball since the 90s. I started going to football and basketball games in the late 80s.

Born in the fall, was inside Commonwealth Stadium when mom went into labor during the 4th quarter of a UK football loss. Went home from the hospital in a UK onesie.

First complete sentence: UofL go to hell (Thanks, dad!)

Fortunate enough to attend the 1993, 96, 97 and 98 FFs in person.

Attended every SEC tournament from 1992-2000.
