This whole fiasco just sucks balls. How in this day and time with virtually all college athletes free agents, can anyone not be eligible?? Seems like such a great kid, always cheering and smiling. This is criminal what those idiots are putting the kid through. Wont be the same rest of the year if he does decide to go back home. Ill miss seeing him on the sideline and his presence. The whole thing is a shame!!!

that is why UK should be suing the NCAA like these other schools. It is not about the "student" athlete and hasn't been for a long time. These kids are not virtually semi pros, so what is the hold up?
Any decent and interested athletic director would have been involved in this situation from the start. He would be giving the NCAA ultimatums and deadlines. Yet, Barnhart is content to put everything on cruise control and let whatever happens happen.

This entire " eligability" issue is horse shit. These kids are semi pro basketball players. This rediculous sham of student athletes is an illusion the NCAA must perpetuate to justify its ongoing existence. Z isnt here to go to school, he's here to play basketball for one season just like several others on this team. Why are we still perpetuating all this NONSENSE. NIL changed all that,there are no more amatuers or student atheletes. Just let the kid play, let em all play,
