John Calipari and Kentucky assistant coaches Orlando Antigua, Chin Coleman and Jai Lucas are expected to hit multiple stops through the weekend. Most of UK’s top immediate targets will be on the Nike circuit this spring, and that league tips off Friday evening in Orlando, Fla. The Adidas and Under Armour circuits will both begin their seasons in the Indianapolis area Friday. There will be another evaluation period for college coaches later in April, and the next major opportunity to watch players with their shoe company teams after that won’t come until July. Here’s a look at the latest on 10 Kentucky basketball targets to watch in the coming months. Many of these players are among the few that have UK scholarship offers, and the others will be recruits of interest for Calipari and his coaching staff as AAU basketball heats up this month.

Damn lol lot of people on here getting defensive. I’m not saying that’s the only reason we are missing on recruits but another to add to the list. Hunter Sallis was one of the recruits supposedly turned off by the fans so he can’t be the only one.

You do realize Justus fed that to Tucker to take the blame off him sucking at his job?

If Sallis was turned off by Kentucky fans, he would have been turned off by UNC, Kansas, and Duke fans as well.

Evidently, he needed a program without expectations where a good half of the pot-smoking fan base supports the Green New Deal and nonbinary pronouns.

Here's the mathematical equation:

1.Take your prime recruits.
2.Subtract the guys Auburn, LSU, and Oregon pay to get.
3. Subtract the guys Duke outpitches you on.
4. Subtract the guys the G-League wants.

That leaves you with guys like Khalil Whitney, Keion Brooks, and a once-a-class under the radar kid like Ty Ty.

Spot on. And why we need a new coach. Cal is as stale as a 4-month old bag of Ruffles.

Calipari fatigue. I’m sure there are coaches out there other telling recruits to just visit UK’s social media page and to think long and hard if you want to play for a coach that does not have the majority of fans support.
“Does not have the majority of fan support for.the sky is falling crowd on a message biased called Rupp Rafters” is what you meant. In other words, a relatively small percentage of the overall sane fan base

With K retiring, it should have been Cal taking over. But, that seems the opposite now.
