He can think what he wants but you're using him solely for confirmation bias. Would his findings hold as much weight to you if they were completely opposite? If not, then really the only thing you care about is the fact that he agrees with you.

I respect a published medical provider who could have a bias in your favor because of his sexuality, but disagrees that there is a scientific foundation to your claims. Yes, I both respect him for his scientific understanding and his bold acknowledgement of the scientific truth in the face of an ugly cult.
