Fayette County Schools - Going to Gender Neutral Bathrooms

According to phunterd, it's going to cause a general decay of society and we're in a rapid descent into madness. That's the issue here, pal. Of course then he spent time arguing with another poster and then announced he was going to have dinner. Not sure how anyone could eat during our rapid descent into madness. Maybe he was just being dramatic on the internet.

Don’t make me pick on you too.

Yeah and you also aren’t a middle school girl or middle school boy. Pretty sure you wouldn’t had thought this was so cool if they had then when you were in school..or if you had a middle school girl. Now that I think it over, why even put doors on the stalls? Hopefully next design, they take that next, bold step!

You're fighting a lost cause w/ this group. Most are too woke, or just too stupid to care.....until something happens to one of their own. Even then the jury is out.

I only read part of this thread…. not going to go through all of it. So similar thought may have already been shared. But…

1. This is dumb. Separate boys and girls bathrooms have been fine for, well, forever. Everyone should know which restroom they are “supposed” to use and conduct themselves accordingly. I don’t care what gender you think you are, be whatever you want. But you use the restroom for your biological sex at birth, end of story. This nonsense of gender neutral bathrooms is just pandering to woke sensibilities.

2. If they INSIST on not identifying restrooms according to biological sex, fine. They’re building all these individual private stalls. Just go ahead and make each “stall” its own bathroom with toilet and sink. Problem solved. That’s not much of a stretch from what they apparently plan to do now anyway.

If I’m a teacher, I want to see see what’s going on between boys and girls in the “common” areas of the bathrooms.

Yes, my mother knows that a man is someone with XY chromosomes. Sick burn.

Please answer - what is a man? Come on, at some point it does get tiring picking on you. Give me some new material.
If you think this is you picking on me then you most definitely were not a bully growing up.

I’ll gladly answer but I can’t promise that it won’t trigger you. A man is an adult human being who lives and identifies as male

This is a circular definition. What is that? What are they identifying as? What makes one male?

I’m going to play along with you for a minute because I do like a good laugh.

Logical contradiction #1 with that theory - If gender is social and unrelated to biology then why does gender “affirmation” (genital mutiliation) therapy involve the removal of biological features?

Answer that one then I’ll throw some more fallacies at gender theory. We can go for days if you wish because a 5 year old can pick it apart.

It’s magic and no one can understand how gender works or how many genders exist. It’s beyond understanding.

Here’s dictionary.com’s definition: having or relating to a gender identity that corresponds to a complex, variable set of social and cultural roles, traits, and behaviors assigned to people of the sex that typically produces sperm cells.

Again, Google is free and you are more than capable of looking all this up but something leads me to believe that there is some level of you being disingenuous about this whole thing. I wonder why I would think that.

I, personally, am a man so I will go into the men’s room. I would not go to the women’s room because I am not a woman. I would not want to go into a room that is not meant for me considering the whole being a man thing. Not really too tough to answer.

How do you know you are a man?

Wow. The woke liberals in this thread brought up the alphabet cult and slavery by the second page! Brownie badges for that!!!
You know, I sure do see God in the way you behave. Good on you sir.

I’ve heard of brownie points but never brownie badges. What do those look like?

That definition is word salad that doesn’t mean anything. It literally does not define anything. So using that definition - what is a man? Is someone that has XY chromosomes that bakes a cake and stays at home a man? That’s typically a cultural trait assigned to women so according to the definition provided means they’re not a man. Horseshit.

I’m not the one being disingenuous. I’m only asking for you to answer simple questions that you are unable to answer that pre ~2015 Matteo would’ve had no problem answering. I’ve given you several opportunities to defend your religious dogma. It’s a softball question that you cannot bunt much less knock out of the park because you realize the logical issue that is ahead of you so you continue to sidestep.

Your definition - a man is someone who identifies as male. Again, what is a male? Someone with XY chromosomes? So per your definition, a woman can identifying as someone with XY chromosomes (substituted for male). That is undeniably and objectively FALSE.

It’s all bullshit and your inability to answer even the most basic question proves the complete lunacy behind it. Are you really that gone to this new religious dogma that you deny this?

Good thing your antiquated view on life is dying off. Leads to a lot more acceptance on people living their lives in healthy ways.

Conservatives scream small government until it’s time to control the lives of people that they don’t like.

Actually, you claim acceptance while saying you wish people die off. Once again, you argue with contradictions. Rather than being a person of acceptance, you are the bigot who cannot debate an issue without insulting a group of people or your opponent. That is your modern way and it will get you as quickly as you give it.

Wow, four paragraphs of nonsense. Talk about word salad. Thanks for proving at the very least that I was right about you getting triggered.

Great post of substance Nightwish! Wow, you really wowed us all with that take! What a mic drop moment for you.

I can only base my responses on how you word things. If thinking that it’s bad for black people to be owned is your idea of a “21st century progressive idea” then I can only conclude that conservatives of this era don’t also hold that view, otherwise you wouldn’t have made the distinction.

You’re the one talking about being discarded, I never said something of the sort. I’m all for praising them for founding this country but what I don’t like is white washing history to make them look like saints when they took part in the worst thing to occur in this country’s history.

Also, it’s not solely a “modern day standard” if there were men who had the same view that we have today. If only all of our founding fathers truly hated slavery as much as some people want us to believe.
The idea that owning slaves is bad across the board is a 21st century ideal. Back in the antebellum days. Everybody in the country was racist. There was abolitionists, yes. But the majority of Americans did not care about slavery. Or were indifferent to it. Most northerners wanted slaves kept in the south, because they didn't want them living in their communities and taking their jobs. You trying to use the founding fathers owning slaves is presentism. In 100 years. When the popular narrative or moral right is there is more than 100/500/1000/10000 genders. You will be seen as backward and an ism. Just like you're calling the founder fathers.

Don’t make me pick on you too.

He won’t take you on, other than to throw an ad hominem argument your way. He avoids substance and is the epitome of the “how dare you think that way” hall monitor position. We all know his liberal proclivities, but he will never debate, but will only demean.

I owe you an apology. This whole time I thought you were serious. I now realize that you’re trolling as a parody account of the left.

Well done sir.

He's not a liberal. Liberal views are freedom of press, private property, rule of law, individual rights, freedom of speech. Basically everything america was founded on. He's a marxist. Big difference.

Then why did you originally only say progressive?

And you think I’m gonna care? No one will remember me by then. But the founding fathers were completely hypocritical when they wrote that all men were created equal while owning slaves. I’m just trying to get to a point where people stop getting offended when these men are ridiculed for their hypocrisy.

Seeing slavery as being morally wrong. Was a progressive ideal in the antebellum days. Abolitionists were not popular. And once again. Doing presentism. The founding fathers were racist in the 1780/90s. As were all americans. The 3/5th compromise was just their attempt to sweep it (slavery) under the rug. The southern colonies weren't gonna ratify if they didn't put that in there.

Your mom and I agree that my penis is a pretty big clue but that doesn’t have to be the case for some people.

Oh. Having a penis is a “clue.” You cannot define the word you and your cult have decided is undefinable.

My mom is an 84 year old widow. If you pine for her, I can set you up. But, I am not sure why you demean your wife on this thread by acting as if you have been with other men’s mothers. Your wife deserves better than that. She probably deserves a man who knows what being a man is about.

Yes, this thread has very much shown my opposition to private property and freedom of the press. 🙄

Gender neutral bathrooms for adults is one thing. If you can’t see a problem with this when it comes to children then I don’t know what to tell you.

Or in businesses where you can choose to go elsewhere. Public school student has no choice.

If the school system has any intention at all in achieving their stated objective, they'd literally just make several single person bathrooms.

Instead they're making a political statement. So they're going to force this situation on kids 99.9% of whom aren't asking for it.

So would you attribute the end of slavery to progressives or conservatives? Just out of curiosity.
