Fayette County Schools - Going to Gender Neutral Bathrooms

Oh, I don’t know. I suppose it’s because the general decay of society, our rapid descent into madness, and denial of objective truths bodes poorly for all of us.

But keep pretending we’re advancing as a civilization and culture if you wish.
Geez brother, I'd hate to see what you're like in a bathroom

That’s the thing - it’s not really about a bathroom design. You know the larger issue at play here and the factors driving it.

IDGAF about bathroom designs. I do care about denial of biological truths in regards to sex and gender.
You mean how they’re two different things? Right right

Matteo - how often do you go into the women’s restroom when out at a place that actually has separate bathrooms?
Interesting question, the answer is none but I appreciate you asking. Now if you asked me how often I go to a gender neutral bathroom when they’re the only ones available, I would say that I do so every time I need to go.

Scared to touch a toilet seat? You know you can just wash your hands afterwards correct? New skin will even automatically replace that defiled skin as well very soon.

^^^These same people go into restaurants and bars and COMPLETELY trust that everything has been washed perfectly by people getting paid $8.98/hr.

Newsflash; you’re eating and running your tongue and lips over silverware and glassware that literally 1000s of people have used, dozens just that day, but you’re scared to touch a toilet seat with your hands?

Ooooookkaaaaaaayyyyy….

When was this dish water last rinsed? You know?

Because most dishwashers keep reusing the same water over and over until someone changes it during they day which they’re supposed to but you’re trusting the low man in the totem pole here, the dish guy.

Same as bar glassware. You have ZERO idea if that water has been changed even once. If you have a lazy bartended you just drank out of a glass washed in water that 100 peoples glasses have already been washed in.

And you all over here worrying about toilet seats. Some soft ass boys in here. After a couple years of nursing and service industry for 16 I don’t care to touch almost anything.

Some of you all didn’t grow up playing in the woods and it shows.

That's more of a personal preference, and a smart one at that, as I'm not losing a single thing by not touching the underside of a toilet seat.

I'm aware that when I eat out, I'm likely ingesting germs of some sort.

.. but a toilet seat never gave me a delicious burger and a beer, now did it?

Sex-biological (at birth)
Gender-social

Go Cats

I’m going to play along with you for a minute because I do like a good laugh.

Logical contradiction #1 with that theory - If gender is social and unrelated to biology then why does gender “affirmation” (genital mutiliation) therapy involve the removal of biological features?

Answer that one then I’ll throw some more fallacies at gender theory. We can go for days if you wish because a 5 year old can pick it apart.

Because while they are separate things, they are similar and can directly relate to one another. That’s why people like you always get them confused.

Why not go into a women’s restroom? You see something wrong with that? I’m guessing you may feel slightly awkward if you did…or maybe you wouldn’t and could care less if you made a woman uncomfortable in the process? I know, a lot of tough questions to dance around.

Lexington is becoming Louisville. They already want to distance themselves from the rest of the state like Louisville. How long before we hear. ''I'm from Lexington, not Kentucky''.

Interesting. Prove it, please.

Gender theory was made up by a few far left “academics”. Dr Money, among them, was a significant proponent of it. I’m sure you’re aware of what happens to the poor children in his experiment to prove gender is unrelated to sex.

Logical issue #2 for gender identity theory - what is a man? What makes someone a man? What about a woman?

It wasn't made up by academics. It was a marxist creation.

I’m actually terrified of most public restrooms. They are, by and large, disgusting and have zero privacy. Truck stop gas stations and airports are the worst.

The immediate reaction seems to always center around some sort of LGBTQ argument. Personally, I don’t give af about that either way. Whether you’re a teen girl going thru that time of the month or a grown adult man that ate too much hot sauce for lunch, people deserve privacy in the bathroom. Individual stalls where your neighbors can’t see in or hear everything you’re doing.

Those of you who insist on whining about this are just desperate to complain about something.
Why did you bring up LGBTQ? I said absolutely nothing about that.

Very true. And unfortunately that industry was hijacked by them.
America is basically turning into a marxist country. And no one cares. Because they think it's a good thing. Diversity hires, woke politics, gender ''affirming'' surgery. Etc etc. Founding fathers are rolling in their graves.

I, personally, am a man so I will go into the men’s room. I would not go to the women’s room because I am not a woman. I would not want to go into a room that is not meant for me considering the whole being a man thing. Not really too tough to answer.

You seem to be under the idea that gender and sex are completely unrelated things considering you’re odd reference to a Dr. Money with no source material.

If you genuinely want to understand the distinction, Google is and has been free for several years now. That, along with being a much better source material than I ever could be.

If only we still lived in the days where conservatives had the view that I’ll leave you the hell alone if you do the same.

You’re right, all those slave owners would hate to see what has become of the humans that they viewed as only worth 3/5 of a person.

And there it is! The “Why do you care?” argument of last resort. To be fair, I warned you that your position is impossible to defend but you opened the can of worms…

I’ll tell you why I care - because we cannot deny objective truth. Men and women are different. In general, we are complimentary and offer different strengths and perspectives that contribute to a healthy society. Pretending you are something you are not is not healthy. And I have a huge ****ing problem with spreading it to children who don’t know any better to defend themselves against this sickness.

I do think sex and gender are inseparable. That’s not your position. And it’s nearly impossible to defend when confronted with basic logic.

Yeah dunk on the founding fathers. You know there was a giant debate on slavery when they were drafting the constitution right? You think they all just voted unanimously ''yeah we're keeping slavery''. The anti-federalist rich planters in Virginia wanted slavery. The new england federalist bankers didn't want slavery. But don't let facts get in the way of twitter posts.

Good thing your antiquated view on life is dying off. Leads to a lot more acceptance on people living their lives in healthy ways.

Conservatives scream small government until it’s time to control the lives of people that they don’t like.

Ooooooooohhhhh, they debated on whether to own black people. Someone give them a posthumous gold star. Remind me, did they end up keeping slavery after that debate or not?

And don’t forget, Twitter is dead, it’s X now.

Men born in the 1700s don't live up to 21st century progressive ideals. Therefore they deserve to be discarded The men who built this country. Lol, you people are a joke.

Funny, you just said that there were men during that time that had “21st century progressive ideals.” Weird that you worded it that way as well, almost like you’re insulting that it’s not a 21st century conservative idea that owning black people is a bad thing.

Yeah call me a racist. Classic marxist play. I'm saying judging men born in the 1700s by modern day standards is stupid. They grew up around slavery, slavery was legal, and slavery was in america since the 1500s. Does that make slavery good? Of course not. But trying to act like because these men owned slaves they should be discarded is supremely stupid. But what do you expect from marxist ''progressives''.

Antebellum Americans did not hold our modern views on race, and to insist that they did and that their actions should have matched our own is the very definition of presentism.

I can only base my responses on how you word things. If thinking that it’s bad for black people to be owned is your idea of a “21st century progressive idea” then I can only conclude that conservatives of this era don’t also hold that view, otherwise you wouldn’t have made the distinction.

You’re the one talking about being discarded, I never said something of the sort. I’m all for praising them for founding this country but what I don’t like is white washing history to make them look like saints when they took part in the worst thing to occur in this country’s history.

Also, it’s not solely a “modern day standard” if there were men who had the same view that we have today. If only all of our founding fathers truly hated slavery as much as some people want us to believe.
