Starting Tee. Also giving Claypool the nod as a flex with so many tough matchups for my RB's.
Yes I'm in Fuller hell sorta. But I drafted him in the 9th round also.
The problem with Kittle is that I drafted him to my team. Sorry ‘bout that.Kamara and Kittle giving me nothing so far. I think for next year, if I don't get Kelce or a TE that's very good WITH a proven QB.. then I'm putning that position to the end and just streaming it all season.
I know Kittle is considered top4. He did have 9 fantasy points for me last week.. but these guys just have too wonky game scripts. I'd almost rather have that RB3/WR3 or an elite defense, than getting that TE4 and after.
Anyone have any thoughts on a Najee, Godwin, L Thomas for J Jacobs, K Allen or D Moore, J Cook trade?
I think the finalization of the trade is going to be Najee, Godwin, L Thomas for Jacobs, D Moore, and J Cook. The Allen and Moore was a choice as to which would be included. So it's going to be a 3 for 3 trade. I was thinking I would be upgrading rb and te, but definitely losing the wr portion. Seems like rbs and tes are more at a premium this year so that's why I was looking at the trade.Don't own any of them.. But the person getting 4 guys (and sending 3) means he has to drop someone. So you might as well look at it this way, if you're the guy sending Najee and company, keep in mind you need to drop someone else. Can you part ways with someone? This is why I don't love uneven trades.. hard to satisfy both parties.
Down to the trade.. idk. I'd prefer to have the 2nd grouping. It's 4 draft-worthy players instead of 3. Godwin is always going to be fighting for touches with the rest of the Bucs pass catchers, Najee Harris while impressive, is still a rookie, and who knows how he fares over the entire year. I also think Moore is going to be just fine with Darnold.

Yeah I wish I had scooped up Hockenson in the draft. Dude has gone bonkers so far. I picked up Moore last week and that seems to have been a great decision. Seems like he could be a ROY type candidate. I'll have to go check out Carter. That's a littler bit better. Tight End is just so tough to call. It's such a game-script dependent position. Unless you have Kelce, every tight end appears to be boom or bust. I mean, George Kittle is seen as a sure-fire top3/top4 TE.. and he hasn't done anything yet.
But yes, RBs and TEs have a huge drop off, where as Wideouts can be had pretty far down the list.
Go grab Rondale Moore at WR, if he's available. I scooped him up, and sure enough he gets 114 yards and a TD. Michael Carter for my Jets, might actually be worth grabbing. There's some promise that he's quickly becoming the lead back, he looks at least decent, and he did it against two of the better defenses so far. It's a bit of a longshot.. but if the Jets trust this guy, he becomes a top20-15 RB by season end.

The other RB I make take a flier on is T Pollard. Looked damn good in the Cowboys last game and they seem to like him in space opportunities. He'll always be 2nd fiddle to zeke, but if zeke were to be out for any reason pollard would be a good back to have. I also have Javonte Williams on my bench in case he becomes rb1 in Denver. Seems like he has the talent to do so but who knows.Interesting note on Carter: The Panthers DID just hold Alvin Kamara to 5 yards. It seems that Michael Carter and the Jets maybe have faced two elite defenses.. possibly even two top5 run defenses.. before Week 3. This bodes well for Carter going forward, to still rush for around 4.5 YPC.
Running backs will get injured as the season goes on, we've actually been pretty fortunate that there haven't been too many big injuries yet. So you need to have a few stashed, IMO. Outside of Carter, maybe Ty'Son Williams.

Yeah I've never been a huge Zeke guy either. Super talented but never cared for him that much. Maybe it's because he played at OSU lol that's pretty much what my bench consists of are the what if guys that could blossom into starters putting up good points by the end of the year. At receiver I have R Moore and Will Fuller, and at RB I have Javonte Williams and Pollard. If 1 or 2 of them could boom by the end of the year that would be awesome. After the trade I did today I'll also have Golladay in case he becomes the go to guy in NY. Seems like Shepherd has that locked up at the moment though.I would, he got scooped up on waivers this morning. I'm not a huge Zeke fan, I think he surged because the Cowboys had a fantastic Oline for years, but Dallas fans might have something to say.
All you can do is stash some of these RBs in hopes they become starters by seasons' end.

Yeah I've had 2 numbers 1 picks go down and it's crippling. 1 year was David Johnson and Saquan.McCaffrey down with a hammy injury.. that just ruined a lot of people's fantasy teams. That's why that #1 pick is iffy.. if said player goes down, your next best player might be the 20th to 24th best guy.
Yeah he probably will be but when he's doing well he's a heck of a receiver. Or at least ped Fuller was good. Who knows now though, just figured it was worth a late pick. Yeah Pollard looked awesome last week. Will Fuller might be useless if Tua is out for a while.
Pollard seems to be getting more and more play. Even with a healthy Zeke, it's almost becoming a running back by committee.

Probably some truth to that. Miami doesn't seem to have any one proven guy, so maybe he comes in and kills it. Guess we will know in a couple weeks whether he was worth the late draft pick or not. After the first 9 or 10 picks you're just looking for potential studs anyways. Why not draft a guy that's already shown flashes of what he can be? Darnold is looking awesome for the panthers. Made some great throws tonight.Yep, that's why I grabbed Fuller as well. He was a beast last year up until his suspension and idk if PEDS did much more than help with recovery. I dont think they made him a better receiver.
Nice to see Darnold play well now that he has some talent around him. Wish we kept him.
As we discussed our snake bitteness before the season…..My team - just to record this before the season starts.
QB - Kyler (I have a QB named Kyler. My heavens!)
RB - Saquon Barkley
RB - Mike Davis
WR - Stephon Diggs
WR - Mike Evans
TE - George Kittle
Flex - Myles Gaskin
K - (picked up)
DEF - Baltimore
Bench has lots of RB/WRa including Deebo Samuel, Sony Michel, Kirk Cousins, Dionte Johnson, and DJ Chark.
Looks good on paper but something will happen.
Kittle, Julio Jones, Henderson, Fuller, Carson, Antonio Brown.. have all missed at least one game before week 5 is done.. and my top two picks, Hopkins and Kamara, are probably two of the bigger early-season busts. IDK how I'm 2-2.As we discussed our snake bitteness before the season…..
I have Russell Wilson, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, and OBJ. Also have Kamara who is currently outside the top 10 backs.
I’m 1-3 and shocked I got that lol.Kittle, Julio Jones, Henderson, Fuller, Carson, Antonio Brown.. have all missed at least one game before week 5 is done.. and my top two picks, Hopkins and Kamara, are probably two of the bigger early-season busts. IDK how I'm 2-2.
Starting Fournette was the only smart thing I've done this season.
Well you're argument was always that it was Belichick, that he was far and away the best coach...well, we will test your theory the next few years how Bill does without Brady. What was the Bucs record year before Brady got there? Did they even go to the playoffs? Next year Super Bowl.
Currently in 3rd. just made a trade that either takes me to the top or kills the season.. traded Dalvin and Gesicki for Kelce and Gaskin. Ppr league. I also have David Montgomery on the bench coming off IR. Dalvin has been a disappointment so far this season to me.
Sounds like you might've made out pretty well, all things considered.
