This is my issue. He's doing Briscoe a disservice if he's not pleading with him to come back or transfer. Cal says once the seasons over its all about the kids. If he's not doing everything he can to help these kids make the right decision then he can't make that claim.

It was the same with Lamb, Teauge, Goodwin, Orton, Johnson, Aaron Harrison.

If Aaron Harrison and Dakari Johnson come back they're the focal point of the offense and raise their stock substantially.

Same with Lamb and Teague. Those guys could have had a season similar to Murray and Ulis.

If Cal is just saying "you should come back" and then a "welp I did my best" that's kind of bull crap.

Matt Jones and Drew Franklin have strongly hinted multiple times that Briscoe hates school. Nothing Cal says would make him come back. He only did so last time because he thought he could improve on the things the scouts told him to. He is just not NBA material and probably never will be.

No one and done rule means none of those players ever play college ball.

Obviously I meant if the one and done was changed to two years which has been discussed as a possibility. And if the best players were allowed to go straight to the NBA again then that definitely works to Cals advantage no doubt. He would just get the next best guys and get to keep them longer. Imagine having the best talent in college along with it being experienced talent. That's something opposing coaches wouldn't be looking forward to.

That's a stupid take. We were in the championship game 3 times in 8 years. There are programs who don't even make the damn round of 64 that many times in 8 years.

Typo on my part. That's what I get for responding in the middle of a work day. Point was how many teams can say once every four years they have been in a championship game with numerous elite 8 appearances as well as final 4s. We've had great success and some people just get bent out of shape without looking at the big picture. We fight for national titles every year. Some years we get closer than others but we're always a danger in any bracket were in. No one wants to play us in March.
