Well honestly I've had my hopes up about them 2 returning so this just adds to it and when Cal mentioned if you are gonna return then you're returning to be great. I feel like he wouldn't say that about WG or Hump.

The problem with Bam is that he seems to only be about 6'8. He's an explosive above the rim athlete though so he can play center in college. I think there are questions about his size at Center in the NBA.

We already know the concerns with Briscoe. If you arent tall and lack elite athleticism, you better be a dead eye shooter. He is a great ball handler and has a great build physically, but its tough to see his game translating to the NBA at this point.

Would take bam back in a heartbeat, briscoe too but would prefer to see a different role for him. Bam was an entirely different player the last 10 games or so. Was learning how to play at this level and stay within himself. I do think he could improve his draft position quite nicely should he return but would not blame him if he didn't. Aside from turning down most likely guaranteed money he would be playing with an entirely new team next year. He loved the guys he played with this year, they were his brothers. He most likely would love the guys next year too but would be different for him I assume.

I think Briscoe could benefit greatly from another year at UK just for the simple reason he won't have to play out of position next season. It looks like we finally have at least one and possibly two legit small forwards on the roster finally, so Briscoe can go back to focusing on being a point guard. That would be huge.

He's been fine, it's an all star game, but he's missed quite a few open shots and has committed several turnovers. You can probably blame the turnovers on lack of chemistry and trying to make spectacular plays though. On the bright side he does have at least 8 assists I'd guess and has played aggressive defense

Okay, but over the last ten years I've made correct predictions too. But the truth is, I make about a gazillion predictions a year, I average about 30 correct ones per year, but that still means I "made correct predictions over the last ten years" too.

I hope neither rush the process by hiring an agent.

Briscoe isn't going to get drafted. Anybody telling him different is not doing him any favors. With that said, his stock or lack there of isn't going to change if he comes back. He could very well be an over seas guy. Nothing wrong with that, great money and lifestyle can be had overseas.

Bam is going to get drafted, but he can improve his stock. Right now he is a 16-26 pick, if he wants to take that to the bank, great, I don't blame him. However, if he thinks he has some room to grow and improve at this level and can help his stock, that's great as well. I think Bam has top 8 potential, but didn't quite show it this year because he had no help down low and Cal ran a guard oriented attack due to the lack of a front court.

100%. Sophomore Bam would be an absolute force. Best big in the country.

And I wouldn't completely rule out Bamba even if Bam does come back. We've seen Cal pull off bigger recruiting coups than that before.

I think it's possible.. and here's why IMHO. Bamba is a true 5 in college and ultimately in the NBA, Bam is a NBA 4 who had to play 5 at UK because we didn't have a true rim protecting center. Bam could develop his face the basket game and allow Big Mo to control the paint. With PJ and V providing defensive length and Diallo slashing this could be a very formidable line up by season's end IF Quade can handle point. Briscoe would add toughness and leadership..... Just need someone who steps up and hits that occasional 3

Bam could improve his draft position quite a bit by coming back and continuing to work on his offensive game, especially in what looks to be a weaker draft class. He could be a lottery guy after next season.

Not sure Briscoe can improve his draft chances that much unless he really fixes his shot mechanics and improves those numbers even more than he did this past season. It wouldn't be the worst idea in the world for him to stay until he completes his degree, continue improving, and then hope that by that point he's improved to where a team would be willing to take a flier on him. It sucks because he does all the scrappy things really well and you can't help but love his fight, but it won't matter at the next level until he finds a way to get that shot fixed. Even if it's just getting to the point where he can consistently hit a mid-range jumper, that would at least be something.

Bamba really wants to play the 4 and said if he came to UK was glad we had Richards already to play the 5.
