I am also here to sing the praises of YouTube TV. I literally can't one find one thing I don't like about it. Our two biggest hang ups for not cutting the cord before were not having local channels, and not having DVR (main concern). YouTube TV has both of these, and the DVR is better than anything you get with cable/satellite.
Only channels the wife watches that we don't get on YouTube TV are TLC, HGTV, and there's no Nickelodeon or Nick Jr for the kiddos. We get the apps for those channels on the Roku and use my parents cable login to watch them (I let them use my Netflix and HBO Now login - I realize Paddock tradition is to make dad pay half but I figured this tradeoff would be acceptable).
