The only thing I don’t like about Dillingham is his reckless dribbling that just looks like a turnover waiting to happen. But you can’t deny he’s electric on offense. And when your defense sucks as bad as this teams does you need all the offense you can get.

I think the other guards have show.n glimpses. Especially Wagner and Reeves. You don’t see guards posting up those guys. Silky gets posted up 4-5 times a game and just doesn’t even seem to try and recover on D.

Yeah no doubt about that. Luckily we score so much it doesn’t matter unless we just are cold from 3 or don’t get a stretch of stops at least 2-3 times a half.

Another bonus about our offense being so explosive this year is recruiting. High school kids love to see us hanging 90-100+ over and over versus some of the other teams grinding out 65-58 scores. We are exciting to watch and that appeals to the recruits.

No doubt, I hope we prioritize these kinda skilled guards from now on. It’s so much better having shooting. The Michigan State and Northwestern game was 49-48 with 1:30 left in the game.

He can heat up faster than a microwave, but he plays best in spurts.

I'm guessing his fouls per minutes played are probably highest on the team. I want to make sure he’s available to finish games!

Yep, then lose even more games every season. If you haven't seen the games literally EVERY PLAYER on our team gets left in the dust on defense. It has been happening for a while which makes me believe it is the TYPE of defense that is being practiced. You can notice it ESPECIALLY when the baseline is involved. The players literally seem to GIVE the opposing player the baseline 90% of the time while not guarding them at a correct angle to the rim.
Very strange defensive behavior. I am not going to go back to all the Cal interviews, etc. but the way he talks it is like he encourages the next level defender to pick up the player who drives by or what not.. Well, what happens then is you leave a player unguarded for a second or so. Not a good practice. Not understanding how to teach zone defense there is going to have EVERY player get "blown by".
