D-League

Good afternoon all,

Slept in late. My Darling left about 7:30 for choir practice before the 8:30 service. The BB and I slept in and went to the late service and Sunday School. (First time I have been to church since the weather went north. I was thankful to be in the house of God today.

My Darling, the BB and I then hit some stores. No big stuff, we bought the big stuff yesterday. My Darling get's to sleep until whenever she wants in the morning. (She never sleeps past 8, ever but she has the day to herself. At 67 she needs some of those days. My Darling looks a whole lot younger than 67. About the only fight I have with my children is that they are still depending on Mom to do stuff for them. It has to stop. I keep reminding them how old their Mom is now.) The BB will go home with his Mom tonight after she get's off work at 7.

I am heading to the swamp in the morning to see what is in store. Was told last week that we are in every day now and then saw a note late yesterday about some sort of time to get things worked out. I do need to get the transit benefit set back up to where I am driving about three miles in stead of 32. Much rather take the VRE anyway but I will have to walk a bit but I can still do that thankfully. The parking will be seriously rough to find even though I have a permit.

Anyway. I am thankful and willing to go in to work. Yeah, I liked working from home but I KNOW it is best is for all to be in the office. Too many scammers. I have a really good crew but I know of many who are working two or three jobs remotely and doing nothing for each agency. Just criminal but rarely anyone is held accountable. Let's see the mentality of some others.

I love peanut butter.............I am like Storm.......I can live on it. I used to like a little jelly on my sandwich........no longer.........funny thing is......I can't eat peanut butter in anything else.......no candy........no cookies..........no pie......I have tried.........just peanut butter on bread......I just got done eating one for lunch.

Oh, I see now...Peanut Butter Brittle, the new fad... (Got to change the name to have a new fad....)

For lunch today, I ate two small soft flour tortillas covered in JIF natural peanut butter. Simple, yet fulfilling.

Peanut butter made in Lexington.

@BBUK Until this morning I hadn't been to church (watched online) since Christmas Eve....sick and then winter hit hard here. I was also sure glad to be there in person today. I think this was probably the longest streak of missing in my lifetime.

@awf We have more in common. I don't like peanut butter cookies, candies, fudge, cereal, etc. BUT, I make an exception for peanut butter pies....Mmmm, Mmmm. Good stuff. I loved peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as a kid, but now it's 95% peanut butter, hold all the extras.

I still like this team and am 100% behind Coach Pope, but dang I just want to see EFFORT!

Good morning folks. Finally getting a break from work.

Both the teams I was pulling for lost yesterday. I guess while I'm normally an AFC guy, I'll root for the Eagles in the Super Bowl. But without any huge enthusiasm.

I know this happens in every game and I don't care that much, but what a terrible call on that 4th down surge by Allen. Even the CBS analyst Gene Steratore said he had it. Ah well. If you want to win, you better be ready to leave no doubt when playing the chiefs. And this newish thing that both the Bills and Eagles use anything they need a yard, the Tush Push, I'm ready to see that outlawed anyway. Be a little creative. run a sweep, or a QB option.

It seems like it's been years since UK has had a full, healthy roster during SEC play. If it's not injuries it's other issues (Sharpe, Big Z, Kanter, etc.). I know this has been the case for decades (Bowie, Anderson, etc.) but damn this year comes at a horrible time. Never a good time but....

Actually, I predicted it in the predictions thread and won this week's top spot. I had UK 79-Tenn 73. Just luck mind you as it is my only top 10 finish in that thread this year. But, I'll take it. It was more wishful thinking than anything.

Good morning folks —it should I say GREAT morning, after that win in Knoxville. To top it off, I was too excited to sleep so I watched Pitt slap around UNC-Cheats in what announcers were calling a January “Bubble Game.”

This team looks so pretty when shots are falling.
