Need a new vehicle myself. My F150 is a 2007 and the KIA Sportage is a 2006 so they are both getting old. My wife has the newest (2017 Nissan Rogue) but has recently said she wants a new one too. Well, I told her that I am waiting until after I pay off the house (end of this year or the next). We are currently 10 years in on a 30-year mortgage, and while I have enough to do it now, I would not have much left over. Need to build some extra back up money first.
Watch for upcoming sales and specials. Nissan and Honda are merging. Wife purchased last vehicle, 2019 Nissan Rogue at 0% interest. It just hit 13K miles. You read that correctly. Also own a 2013 Nissan Frontier with 32K. Great vehicles.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 32°F, clear and sunny. Light wind from the south. Today's high expected around 56°F.

Game tonight at 7:30 CT. Cats visit other Bulldogs down in Starkville. Go Big Blue!

Wishing y'all an enjoyable Saturday.

Good morning folks.

Cats could use a big win today. Here's hoping. But Starkville is always a tough place to play, and this MSU team seems to be the exact type that Kentucky struggles with.

NFL playoffs start today. The college season is ending with a thud. If someone had asked me in late August to name the National Championship game that would make me sick to my stomach, I would absolutely have come up with Notre Dame versus Ohio State.

We got four inches of snow overnight, which I didn't expect. Headed out for my long run of the week but about halfway through I gave it up. I was running through snow laid over a sheet of ice and after my tenth near fall that was enough. At 69, with one hip surgery behind me, I'm not sure I need to be falling on my ass more than absolutely necessary.

You all have a good day.

Wow MdW,

Just looked at my ring camera. Looks like about a half inch for us. Stuck on our car but I could see the sidewalks and roads. Be careful.

I have an exercise regiment that includes stretches and push ups but I have not been at all pushing myself. I just started a more regimented stretching and calisthenics with a couple aerobics moves. I realized I needed more.

Just walking "ain't" making it Been feeling more aches and pains for a couple weeks now. That is concerning too Me at 63 listening to you all has helped me push more. Take care...

Went to help test some students last night and wound up sparring with one of the adults going for his green belt with brown tip. He was a 31-year-old SSG in the army and we did not have enough adults to spar without me getting in the mix. He fought 9 people for 3 minutes each before we did 2 on 1, 3 on 1, 4 on 1, and 5 on 1. When he got up to 4 and 5 on 1 is when I joined in. Made sure he was tired so I could look good. along with other students we did have 5 other black belts to fight him before I got involved. Felt good getting in some sparring since I have not sparred much lately.

I think I told you before I had some training while in the military, but I didn't take it seriously enough and never followed up on it afterwards. As a civilian, I had a buddy who trained on the full contact stuff. I put on the protective gear and let him do some of his kicks. He probably only weighed 150 pounds, but he kicked like a mule and could easily kick you in the face if he wanted. He went to a party with a motorcycle gang and they put on boxing gloves. He beat everyone who would fight him. I was about 170 pounds and wouldn't have wanted to fight him.

Great game. 16-32 from 3. Outrebounded them 41-33.

Officials called a decent game. Neither team can complain. Foul shots were basically even. We were a little sloppy with our passing second half, but guys made big shots. Really fun team to watch.

I still see a lot of rough play from the opposing team but maybe that's just me... Seems too much contact getting "overlooked"......

Good morning from ATX. Currently 33°F and clear. Clouding up later today. Expecting 60°F for our high.

What a shooting exhibition last night. Wow. Jon Scott has already updated his site. Jaxson Robinson now included.

Gonna clean up and head out for a hike later. Wishing y'all a peaceful Sunday.

Good morning everyone.

16 degrees in the winter wonderland here on the mountain. I scraped our driveway and nearby roads yesterday and hope it warms up quick to thaw them out a bit. Hope to make it out for our great-great nieces 4th B-day today. She is the one we baby sat the first few years.

Awesome game yesterday. Fun to watch when we're playing with some effort and shooting well. Turnovers (Miss St was good defensively) and FT shooting were the only negatives. I was sure glad to see Oweh with 8 rebounds. We need them.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning folks.

Great win for the Cats. Man, that's pretty basketball when the ball is going in. This is such an enjoyable team.

I was able to get my run in this mrning without slip-and-fall danger. Still cold as hell. Looking forward to relaxing the rest of the day, watching some NFL. The winter weekends are so much more mellow and enjoyable after a Kentucky basketball win.

Have a great day folks.

I knew that foul calls in the first 2 SEC games were in the favor of our opponents but did not realize how much of a disparity there was until last night's announcers brought it up. Our opponents in the first 2 SEC games shot 73 foul shots to our 43. That is a pretty big difference. Perhaps that was the reason for the lower number of fouls called last night. Makes you wonder if the players slack off defensively because of that fact. Maybe?

I totally agree. It was officiated well.

The Florida and Georgia games were fixes in my view. The quality and fairness of officiating in the SEC should not be determined by the names of the officials, but regrettably it swings on who the bastards are.

Take a look at the Alabama vs Texas AM box score from last night. It started 30 minutes before our game, was still going on when our game was over. It was not a game that went into overtime either. 88 combined free throws. 58 fouls called.

Good morning all,

People have too much time on their hands if this is a national day. They need a job, woman, man, or something...(I guess a "duck" will do for some...) Haven't seen a national robot day yet so... anticipation I guess...😁🪠

Not at you ATXC...

Working working, working from home today but this plans to be a killer time-wise...

Going to the swamp tomorrow if the Lord doesn't take me home.... All have a fine day and enjoy yourselves.... in the bath water... (Hey, can't be a rubber ducky day without a National Bath Day....) 😆
