Got up late this morning for the first time in a long time. Stayed up last night and watched the Tyson-Paul fight. It was not even close. I think Jake Paul actually went easy on him. Tyson looked confused most of the way. It was just a money-making deal. A couple of fights before were much better.
Got to get motivated and walk the monster. She has been in my face while I have been sitting on the couch watching last nights Gutfeld.

Bernie, that’s an interesting offer by the Pirates. 30 years of season ticket for the Bucs? You might see a hundred wins —maybe more! But what are the odds whoever gets that card, in a national distribution, lives close enough to go to Pirate games? I guess you could sell the season passes but a card like that would probably just bring a lot more in an auction.
Cold and sunny in the east. Back from a long run. Just got a weekend bonus —my wife and I were taking this boring couple who are friends of hers out to an expensive lunch because it’s a longstanding tradition on the guy’s birthday in November — and they take us out on my wife’s in March…But he and his wife just canceled, so my wife and I can have a lunch I’ll enjoy a lot more —for half the cost.
I hope all you folks get a lucky break today.

Yeah, it seemed geared toward Pirate fans. The other perks were like signed jersies, BP with the team, time at their spring training camp and so on.
Went to another HS football playoff game with friend last night: alma mater NCC beat Brossart. I thought the talent level was pretty good for small schools. Enjoyable cool weather.
As expected, pitiful crowd turnout today. Hopefully it'll be full for the UL game in 2 weeks.
No energy for the game today. The football forum started a game thread after the opening kickoff. They either forgot or didn't care.

I see the Cats beat Murray State. If only Berea and Cumberland College had football teams Stoops would be Bowl-eligible. Louisville managed to lose to a terrible Stanford team —they gave up 59 in their last game to NC State. So, maybe there is hope for the Cats in that game. But when it comes to the SEC, Stoops has never really been competitive, and that won’t change. Baffled Barnhart got lucky and somebody bailed him out of his Lifetime Contract with Cal. That won’t happen with Stoops. He’s going to have to actually do his job and fire the guy, or endure more years where going in the best case scenario is beating four mid-major weak sisters and two SEC bottom feeders to go to the Toilet Bowl.

@MdWIldcat55 I believe I saw a thread/post that quoted Stoops as saying there was 0% chance he would be leaving. Not surprising since interest in him was nonexistent at the end of last season.

Fall league co-ed softball tournament supposed to start at 1300 today but rain may cancel those plans. Right leg while still sore and bruised from last week's quad injury has some mobility with light pain so, I will jog to first (foregoing my blazing speed) if I get a hit. Since they allow pinch runners, I will be fine.

67° this morning with high winds and thunderstorms. Tornado watch in effect until 0900. Monster walk to happen after weather delay.
Played end of co-ed fall season softball tourney yesterday afternoon and we placed 3rd. Had a decent hitting game but mobility was still hampered by quad injury. Reinjured it somewhat but not bad. Hit one to the fence yesterday but it was caught. Team was laughing and ask where that power came from. Frankly, I did not try to hit that far. Was trying to just punch it between the out fielders in left field and it just kept going.
Who Dat! Who dat going to save my Bengals. Another let down in the end. It no longer surprises me or bothers me. I just chalk it up to Zack being Zack. Louooooser.

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable week or so. It's been busy here. I got a deer and then the processing. My wife got a deer and then the processing (gave it to great nephew's family), my BIL's father passed away and attended all the services, our church had a 4 day revival and surprising made it to all. We also did some work on the lease to determine if we will keep it or not. Wife wants to, so I guess that answers that. lol
Hopefully it will be a little slower paced and peaceful this week.

My day started early and I haven't stopped. (Took a little diversion a couple times for a break but I took off about a total hour from 0600 until now. Just eating supper My Darling was kind enough to make Black noodles with a black bean sauce with pork. Just heavenly. heading to the swamp in the morning for what appears to be another long day. I don't mind the long days work but I sure don't like the later drive back at rush hour from DC.... I don't use the commuter trains or Metro but hopefully soon I will be able to, more to follow on that.
Just saw clips from a fight I watched real-time as I am sure many of you did. It was a monster mash back then unequaled during my time in the power punching (Except for maybe the Sugar Ray/ Tommy Hearns fight...)

Good morning D-leaguers, it's great seeing WC's, It's game day posts now that we have s Coach that loves Kentucky and we know that the team is going to play as a team instead of playing for me!!! Feels like the Rupp, Hall and the Pitino team's. I hope Coach Pope is here for the rest of my lifetime! Have a great day and I pray everyday for my friends here, especially ATX!!!!
