I also have Spectrum for internet and land line. Fortunately I've been able to watch the UK games televised on ESPN+ on SEC Network+ free of charge with the ESPN app. For some reason ESPN+ charges for the same game.

YouTube has sports streaming and when you search for Kentucky it will pop up with a guy streaming it. I watched the first two exhibitions and the first game that way. People send him money if you want once to help him out, but you don't have to.

44° this morning with a high of 74° expected.
Played 2 co-ed games yesterday and won both (10-9 and 17-6). Last 2 regular games of the fall season. We have a tournament next Sunday to finish it up. However, in the 2nd game in the 2nd inning, I hit a screamer to right center going past the center right fielder. Seeing it had gone past him I was already around first and headed for second and decided to turn it on and head for third. Bad decision, I have had a few injuries running over the years, but they were either Achilles injuries or plantar fasciitis which I still battle. I have never had hamstrings or quads pulls. Well, erase never on quads. I had a sharp pain as I started to pick up the pace and stopped at 2nd. The good thing is that we get pinch runners so, another guy took my place. Bad thing was, we had no other pitchers there yesterday, so I had to continue to play. Luckily, we run ruled them in the 3rd and I only had to play that extra inning. Maybe no tourney for me this coming Sunday.
Oh well, lazy days for me next few days. However, the monster still needs her walk. I can still walk, and she does not pull hard (most of the time) so I should be ok.

I recall readin a story about this guy in SI when the incident happened. The shots from the 38 were all to the body. He was so thickly muscled, that none penetrated deep enough to reach any organs.

I heard the ESPN app allowed you to watch UK games. I downloaded it. We shall see. Will use the wc backup plan this go round. If I can watch it on my phone, I can cast it to my TV. (Already tried it.)

Thanks Bert. I have a nice copy at home. One of my 3-4 favorite Kentucky games of all time. It was my daughter's first birthday and watched it with her. When the Cats got down 17 I threw my Kentucky hat across the room...SHE TODDLED OVER AND PICKED IT UP, AND BROUGHT IT BACK WITH A BIG SMILE...Somehow I knew the Cats were coming back at that moment. Pure magic.
Probably be a late game tonight. It wouldn't surprise me if the Cats win but it also wouldn't surprise if they lose by 20. Regardless of the outcome it'll definitely be a good learning experience. They need to be tested.
I am actually starting to get a little excitement and nervousness about me again. For the last few years, I had been complacent knowing how badly we had been playing and that with Calipari our chances were not good. I don't want to get too much hope going with this being a new coach and a totally new team, but if we shoot well tonight, it will be hard for them to beat us. Stopping them offensively will be the big test imo.
Wish I was a betting man. (Was a little back in the day.) I'd bet a "hunert" on the Cats....

I have a question for anyone that knows politics , does all these nominee's for President Trump, have to be confirmed or do they just start working day one?
Others can give a better answer than me, but I heard Trump is threatening to use something called a recess appointment if he has to. That would bypass the senate. The last time it was used was by Obama in 2012, but the court said it was a no no.
In 2012, Congress was not in full recess, but having a few members show up each day w/o conducting business. Full recess appointments are constitutional and have been done many times. Both Houses have to recess for 10 days simultaneously & then recess appointments can begin. Those appointees can be confirmed later. I forget if the recess appts last till the end of the year, 2025, or the end of the new Congress - end of 2026.

Lack of inside play for both offense and defense. Hopefully Pope makes the necessary adjustments. Also, some really long 3s that shouldn't have been taken.

I yelled like I was 25 again. You could tell the Duke players actually thought that that game was a guarantee. To be negative, I hate the broadcast crew when the central theme is Duke is to be anointed King. Jay Williams make me want to puke, what an arrogant puss.
Pope may make us all proud Cat fans again. He is very intense but does not belittle his players when they make a mistake.

Did any of the D listen to the post game show, Jack Giving talk to a couple of the players and it was, yes sir, yes sir from the players. One of the players talked about kills, if I heard right, when KY stops the other team from scoring 3 times in a row, that's a kill! I could be wrong, Mrs. M says I am about 99% of the time!!
Wow, just watched espn, they hate Kentucky, all they talked about was Puke!!! Very little credit for Ky!!!!
