D-League

Good morning folks. Cold and clear in the east. Back on the subway for the first time in ten days. I didn’t miss it.

Big chance for the Cats. They’ve showed potential this year. But at some point that needs to translate into wins over Top Ten teams. I hope they come out running and gunning.

Getting off the train. Go Cats.

Good morning everyone.

I slept in til 6 this morning which is only the 2nd time in 3 1/2 weeks that I've made it past 4 AM. The alarm never woke me up during deer season.

I collected old Winchesters with my FIL but sold most of them about 10 years ago to purchase a SxS. The first gun I really had was a foldable H&R 410. Little bitty gun which was passed on to one of my nephews who should be teaching his 2 kids with it any year now. My Dad had/has a double barrel 20 Ga Stevens that I used quite a bit as a teen. I have a Winchester 30/30 that my Granddad used while he lived on Kodiak Island, AK. With no kids I don't know who will get my guns or who will get my wife's guns. Including guns that I had for my job and both of ours we had over 200 at one time. lol Wife almost made it into a national Ladies in the Outdoors calendar for next year. She ended up in 11th place and they took 10. Nearly 300 pictures in the contest.

Off to the Markey Cancer Center (3 hr drive) at UK for my wife's annual checkup (use to be every 6 months). Breast cancer scare about 15 years ago, but we have been blessed.

I should make it back by game time. I hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning from Anneta, KY Currently 25°F and crispy out. We may climb above freezing later today.

Stopped by Smiths Grove Guns yesterday. I'm shipping some firearms up there from Texas and Florida. Also visited Cabela's and Texas Roadhouse in Bowling Green. Could not find a Gerber knife made in USA. All now made in China. :(

Heading over to Huddle House in a few.

Go Cats! Plan on watching game tonight.

Wishing y'all the best.

Disappointing to see so many Kentucky football players opting out of the Bowl game even before one is set. I know it is the way of the world in college football today. But it is basically killing the Bowl games except for the ones where there is a National Championship at stake. At least so far, players seem wiling to stick around for those. As it is, I can't see many fans traveling very far to watch a Bowl Game in late December in which most of the key players will not play.

Makes you wonder if there isn't a way to make NIL money contingent on finishing teh season, including post-season game, unless medically ruled out by the team doctor.

GP MdW! It is angering that many more are learning to not finish what they started. I fight that nearly everyday with someone. "Used to not be so...prevalent..." It is a defined character trait and not a good one. (Stay away from the bad things but if you must, fight them.)

Oh, I thought that was where Mr. Bert lives. Guess I was wrong as I remember you had visited in the past. (I am a nosey poster.) You know Nostradamas or is that Noseydumbass..... Oh, the latter....🧐😳

Bert lives there. I've visited several times over the years. Plan on driving through in the morning on the way to Nashville.

I have lived in Smiths Grove since May 2000. Great little town.

I was a commissioner for 6 years and Mayor for 4 years and I worked my ass off on that web site. The historical articles about the Barrens et.al. are mine. It takes a lot of effort to get CR permission to publish that stuff on a web site. Also I put every ordinance and resolution that were ever adopted by the city on that web site in two formats, sequence and subject. I quit doing the web site last year.

Good morning from Nolin Lake near Anneta, KY. Currently 22°F and chilly,

How about them Cats last night!?! Sheppard shot the lights out. Deadly from behind the arc Team played great.

Leaving here between 6-7 am this morning for Nashville airport. Must return rental car. I'll try stopping in Lebanon and pick up some Goo Goo's. Been a fun trip. Really hate to go.

Happy Hump Day.

Good morning folks.

Watching the extended highlights of last night’s game. So much to like. What I’m noticing right now is that Edwards is slowly becoming the player we thought he’d be. And, as I remind myself, it’s still November. I expect Bradshaw to play Saturday, and have a feeling we’ll see Ivisic soon after. Three weeks for them to work themselves into the same rhythm. That’d have this team really humming around the start of SEC play. I’d love that.

Heading for work. A lame breakfast meeting today. I hope the day is off to a good start for all you folks.

Good morning everyone

Great game last night. Checked box score and stats early this morning. We now have 6 players averaging double digits. I don't recall that happening before....maybe in 96.

Edwards is coming along. We need him as a final piece. I'm still wanting him to rebound better. His defense early on Poplar was not good, actually very bad. But, that's nitpicking about a great game. Looking forward to see how Bradshaw fits in and excited about this season.

Everything went good on our trip to the Markey Cancer Center and I made it home to watch the entire game.

I hope everyone has a great day. And, by hope I also mean pray.

Yes Sir,

I have three sites now I am highly perturbed about. Can't go into much detail but I have some admins who have dropped the ball big time that have no excuses. (Site certs were not ordered.) The turnaround time is too long for accounts to be created for me to jump-in. We just migrated them to the Cloud. I am causing some angst for several people right now.

Anyway, I looked at your site and it is well implemented.

Good morning all,

What a game! Just as involved as I have been in a long time in a UK game. Real enjoyable. I got some serious exercise during that game. ;)

Have a day that will make you proud....

Good morning everyone.

Very enjoyable last couple games. I believe that will be the key to getting me back to diehard fan status. Of course, winning is the biggest factor in being enjoyable , but watching good basketball just makes it so much better. The low turnover rate may just be the key to that. Duke and Tenn both losing last night helps too.

Good morning D-League. We’re having an annual meeting today —Four Hours! —so I’m in early getting some actual work done before the BS.

It’s cold, crisp and clear in the east. I took a walk around the downtown shopping district of DC this morning —just got off a couple subway stops early to get some exercise —and there were plenty of very festive Christmas decorations. I can use the boost to my spirits.

It was good to see Duke lose last night. The SEC mostly looked mediocre in these match-ups, but Arkansas got it done, along with Kentucky. The series end 7-7, with the ACC getting the bye by having Louisville sit out. Hell, they barely beat Bellarmine last night.

Hope it is a nice day for you folks.

Better watch getting your arse mugged. That joint was always different but now it's down right nasty mean up there. Car jackings going ignorant as well.

Thanks for the complement BBUK.

The reason that I quit was they were changing sites to another outfit and I got tired of the unnecessary demands the provider was making.

Good morning folks.

Heading out to get a Christmas tree before work. While waiting for my wife to finish her coffee I’ve found a YouTube video on my TV called Loudest Rupp Moments. Man, I remember all of these back to the Joe B Hall days. We’ve sure had some great moments to share as Cat fans, in my case from Riley and Dampier to Wagner and Sheppard (I know Rupp wasn’t around in 1966, but my memories of the Cats extend back to Memorial.)

Glad it is Friday. This work week was a struggle. Hope you guys are heading for a good weekend.
