Back to work. Weekend would have been better without a Cat Collapse. Football doesn’t really hold my attention that much when the Bengals are ordinary and Kentucky is too.
Last weight update, I promise: 209 yesterday. That’s the finish line of my goal since early August when I found to my shock that I was 250!
Got some good news yesterday. Our son is going to be able to come home for Christmas from Texas. That’ll make the Day, especially for his mom but me too.
Hope the week gets off to a good start.

I hope my spread sheet is correct, but based on the data below Alabama is far more qualified than FSU. They need to take into account strength of schedule and FSU played few decent teams.

Good morning folks. Fun MNF win for Bengals. Probably too late to salvage the season but still fun. It’s becoming clear that if they’d shut down Burrow when he got hurt this summer, this might still have been a playoff team with Browning. But too much money sink into Delicate Joe to do that. So they blew the first couple games while he got in rhythm, then watched him go down again.

Chemo scheduled early today. Leaving around 7:30 am. Should receive MRI/CT scan results. Find out if brain tumor has progressed.

Good morning from Texas Oncology. Currently receiving an infusion.
Somewhat favorable report. All except adrenal gland is okay. Doctor unsure if adrenal gland problems leftover from colon cancer back in 2012 or this latest bout with lung/brain cancer. We're meeting again via Telemed session on December 11 to decide on further treatment. Informed her of my hypothermia issue out on Lake Barkley at end of our fishing trip couple weeks ago. As long as other symptoms not present, I should be okay.

Emergency planning session scheduled for tomorrow. Next few week = 5 radiation sessions over several days. Doctor states adrenal gland lesion is very treatable.

Why is it when I drop small items that they invariably wind up in the most obscure location? Toilet seat bolts for example.

Working from home so far today. May have to go in today but we shall see. Made two different trips yesterday. Made a hardware donation to get a job done instead of waiting for the hardware for five days or so. No getting it back but that will be okay...
Just bought a new 5TB hard drive to back up my data. It is formatting now. I started it last night before going to bed. Doing the full version. Once this finishes I will eject it and do it again. Then back up my data...
My computer has seen it's better days and I observe it is about to give up the ghost. Looking hard for a good deal online. Amazon, Walmart, and Newegg though Newegg seems to have changed a lot... We shall see. Going to buy a desktop but not a tall tower like I last had built.....

As some of you may remember my 3rd cousin was a survivor from the Arizona. I never met him but have read/watched a ton about that day. Below is a link to a story about the remaining men from the Arizona written 9 years ago. Today we are down to one, Lou Conter. He's the first in the story. My cousin, Lauren Bruner, is 4th I think.

Chet is Lauren's brother. Their Dad, my great, great Grandfather, died when Lauren was 6, Chet a few years younger. Big family, their youngest sister was my great grandmother. They were all split up and Chet was officially adopted. Chet is also a WW II vet (sniper) and is still alive and doing OK. My Grandma was their 1st cousin and knew them well.
My Mom met my Dad who was serving in the Navy on Kodiak, AK and they married and came back to KY. I did not meet much of my family out west.

^Curious, & perhaps I've missed something, but what was your Mom doing in Kodiak? Now my gr-grandpa built river steamboats in the Yukon, by way of Skagway, for the gold rush in 1890's & good friend's gr-aunt worked in Juneau hospital at end of the gold rush for a few years.
My grandmother married my grandpa who was born in Canada. Lived in Seattle, divorced, and he took the girls to Kodiak, AK. I don't know the full story about that. They grew up there. One lives in Cali, one in Anchorage, one still on Kodiak, and my Mom in KY.
HA, I am forgot"ten" again... I guess Rivals forgot me. They told me my HOB subscription was up December 5th. I guess they are in the Christmas spirit.
I had a cousin who lived in Anchorage and worked on the pipelines. He told me when I graduated high school that he would get me a job up there and it was really good money but my mom was not in favor of her baby boy moving a 3 day drive away. 😂
