LOLGeorgia is making UK look good.
Depressing to respond to my own post. Braves up one, top of the eighth. 🧐 Looks like all my D league friends have settled down. Could revert off into a Hank Jr. song. BBUK- that’s what youngleenees does for a decent society. Totally ruined 😏Braves! Anyone still awake on “real time”?

Fantastic! I just found out. After Cats football loss, I watched a little World Series coverage and then fell asleep around top of the 6th. Game 5 tonight. Could win it all on home field. Cool place. Went looking there for an ancestor my Mom said was buried there according to family lore but who in reality wasn't buried there. Fun anyway. Historic Central London is amazing.Good morning D-League. It's currently 51° and cloudy here in Eastern Kentucky. This afternoon will bring partly cloudy skies and a high of 62°.
I like seeing the Braves up 3-1 on the Astros.
Cats need to get healthy and regroup this week. Can't let Tennessee beat them at home.
Everyone stay safe on this Sunday.

Indeed. Visited several times, last in 2010. Always something awesome, which I previously overlooked, comes up every visit.Cool place. I would like to take my grand children to Hamley's Toy Store........I could also spend a few more days at St. George Cathedral...........I guess we have spent probably 20 days or more walking around London......not in a row but over 13 trips to England........we like to walk around the theatre district on St. Martin's Lane on the weekend evenings............We were last there in 2011................I am dying for a great big pc of Haddock on a bed of "chips" with some sea salt and vinegar..........and there just ain't no recreating it.......We would drive to Luton and leave the car in a car park and take the tube the rest of the way into London..........we were in Ely and the last train from London was 7 :30 PM too early to even call it an evening.......Indeed. Visited several times, last in 2010. Always something awesome, which I previously overlooked, comes up every visit.
No accessible trash bins/cans was noticeable. Lady at a local bank told me lack thereof due to past IRA bombings.
My truck will sit for a couple of weeks sometimes........If I go somewhere and the Director's vehicle is behind mine I drive hers..........that is one of the reason my truck has so few miles.........I average less than 6,000 miles a year on it....Good morning! Woke up at 1100 raring to go! Did that and then laid back down.
We are who they thought we were. We must be, because we certainly are not who I thought we were.
If those cowbells are legal, then everywhere MSST goes to play should be able to use their PA system to blast them each time they get the ball. Voices give out or weaken during the course of a game, but the cowbell is just as obnoxious in the 4th as it was in the 1st. Sour grapes.
My truck hasn't moved since Thursday. I bet it misses my gentle touch. heh heh.
Have a good day!
I bought the uncut version on Bluray. Stunning.Happy Halloween D-League. My wife and I watched the uncut version of The Exorcist last night to prep for Halloween. Whew.
It brought back memories of watching it in a theater as a 17-year-old with my girlfriend, best friend and his girlfriend. At that age, we were totally stunned, shocked into silence, and the girls practically had PTSD. It’s still pretty powerful.
It has inspired my wife and I to head down to Georgetown. We’ll have brunch at Martin’s Tavern, a favorite spot from our dating days in the early 1990s and the place JFK asked Jackie to marry him. Then we’ll walk over to the famous steps where the priest carries the demon to their mutual demise.
Hope it’s a spooky day for all.
That's about what I average. I've had it for about 19 months and have put about 10,000 miles on it.My truck will sit for a couple of weeks sometimes........If I go somewhere and the Director's vehicle is behind mine I drive hers..........that is one of the reason my truck has so few miles.........I average less than 6,000 miles a year on it....
the Director puts less than four a year on her vehicle..........we are stay at home..........go to the grocery once a month kind of folks......That's about what I average. I've had it for about 19 months and have put about 10,000 miles on it.
I have a 1998 Ford Ranger with about 70,000 miles on it. Several years ago, a tree fell on it in a storm. I had it made drivable as cheaply as possible and it has no reverse on it. I pretty much just drive it on my property to pick up firewood or other errands. That's about what I average. I've had it for about 19 months and have put about 10,000 miles on it.
We have a 1995 Saturn with only 62,000. It's nice to live where you can walk to get just about everything you need.I have a 1998 Ford Ranger with about 70,000 miles on it. I live very close to a small town, but in a secluded area hardly anyone knows is there. I have about 11 acres (mostly woods) and my home and shop are both on my land. It's less than 1,000 by now. Used to be per capita the richest town in the USA in the riverboat boom days. President Grant used to vacation with his rich friends there and it made a list of finalists for being the US capital city before DC was chosen.I live very close to a small town, but in a secluded area hardly anyone knows is there. Abandoned Town of Cairo, Illinois
A once-booming Mississippi River town with a history of racial violence is now eerie and mostly abandoned.www.atlasobscura.com

Sherry and I have a 2014 Ford Explorer, so that is a full 7 years and we have a whopping 62K on it. The last two "second" cars that we had were used so little that I had to charge the battery before they would start. Go for an oil change ever other year and they looked at you like you were crazy. So I got tired of that and sold the cars.We have a 1995 Saturn with only 62,000. It's nice to live where you can walk to get just about everything you need.
It is none of my business, but when it comes to TV's I have a lot of experience. Probably bad advise because if you get it on my advise it will blow up in the first week, but I recommend Sony.Well, my old 50" Panasonic plasma (14 years old) tv finally bit the dust. It was top of the line when I bought it. I watch youtube and old documentaries about 90% of the time so I don't need anything fancy to replace it. Guess I'll finally move up to one of them thar fancy 4K smart tvs.
We had one of those in 42" and it lasted just as long if not a little longer. Kind of funny that plasma is now an old outdated technology.Well, my old 50" Panasonic plasma (14 years old) tv finally bit the dust. It was top of the line when I bought it. I'll second the Sony suggestion. For TVs it's about all I ever buy.It is none of my business, but when it comes to TV's I have a lot of experience. Probably bad advise because if you get it on my advise it will blow up in the first week, but I recommend Sony.
I have had 4 Sony flat screen TV's and bought two for my kids. They are good. The last four that I bought the best price was at Amazon.

I'm in the middle of a TV protest right now. The last 2 big tv's I had prior to this one were supposed to be good. They were Samsung's and neither lasted more than 3 or4 years.
I got a 75" TCL for under 700. I can buy 5 of these for what I paid for those and I guarantee I'll be watching them longer.
The picture is just as good but the interface is more ratchety and the remote is probably a Tandy product.
Now that tv's have become computers with a built in huge screen, I think the next generation of tv will see the screen and computer separate. Your "tv" will be a small projector/computer that will project whatever you tell it to, wherever you aim it. Pretty cool, can't wait.
Who makes them? I always figured it wouldn't be too hard to hook up a projector to an Alexa type of device. They have them already...
