Wonder what they did?

Here's a new one from a one I used to like... Clint got some good ones going once upon a time..

I whipped up some steak seasoning earlier and dosed up a couple of ribeyes. I wanted one for breakfast. Then I wanted one for lunch. I'm having one for dinner. I'm going to light a fire for these. Been doing them in cast iron skillets for the last couple of years.

I cook my wife's steak in the toaster oven until it gets to about 145° then put it on with my raw, room temperature steak. Cook them both the same from that point on.

Now I'm hongry!

A little salt (Seasoned salt works well too.), a little garlic, a little black pepper. If you have a tougher variety of steak soak it in a mixture of stout alcohol for an hour or so. My darling uses soju (Cheaper and can buy it in 12 once bottle. That bottle goes a long way. Uses wine once in a while too.) You cannot taste the alcohol, it evaporates fully.

If you want a real good cut of steak a chuck eye cannot be beat for the price and quality combination. My Darling is going to barbecue a couple for us this evening...(Soon)

Not sure what they did, but I can guarantee they weren't trying to cross the border.

Very probably "gang" activity... I had that same kind of activity when I lived in Summerville, SC... I will demonstrate...

Yeah I know, but how are ducks and geese really different? Here a duck there a goose we all can take a gander and turn it loose... Oh well, ... Howard the Duck I "ain't"...

My Darling kind of went ignorant a few weeks ago. Had some friends for lunch. She made all of this from scratch... I eat this way much of the time...cut the portions to get back down to a decent weight but I still eat better than most King's and President's...

Can you call me thankful. YES... My Darling is gorgeous too... A HECKUV a combination... Yes, as John Wayne stated in the Comanchero's, I am "God given lucky"...

Had to make a beer run today for 2 reasons. I decided to watch a NASCAR race today and also I was going to be cooking with fire. When I put them into the fridge they were pretty cold but nothing beyond what would be expected. I just got a couple out and they are very cold now. The little thermometer says it's 28° in there, so the beer is colder than ice cold beer.

I'm not a science denier. I love it!

You truly are a lucky man.

Yes it does look amazing. I hear they cook in half the time and are more juicy when air fried. I know we love our air fryer, plus the kids would starve if we didn't have one

We have an air fryer we use a lot but nothing that sized to where we could cook a turkey. May try a turkey breast or something like that to see how it turns out.

Thank you Sir. I say a lot of things in jest and good clean fun but when I talk about my Darling and the family she created I am indeed thankful. I have no worries that many marriages have though I have seen a lot of good relationships and am thankful for them. All I will spend the rest of my days doing is trying to be what my Darling needs and my family will respect. I have no other motivations except to honor God who gave me what I never deserved. "He looked beyond my fault and saw my need" to borrow a dear song title...

Nothing more loving on this earth than a man and woman committed to each other in truth.

You had me a little concerned with your second sentence. It sounded a bit cannibalistic.

Enjoy this evening and may God give you peace... God Bless you and please enjoy this song of reverence...

My Darling and I sung this song a time or two as a duet back in our church in Radcliff when we were a lot younger.

I hear they were selling insurance without a license. 🌼
Probably threw a felony Causing An Irritation at them too.
Howdy d-League. Just back from Kansas City seeing my new grandson and my six-year old granddaughter.

It was a great visit. Got to eat some good KC barbecue.

But it wore me out. Had to get up at 3:30 am to make my way east.
Glad to see you made it back safely.
About time they get these quack dealers off the street.
Quack is whack!
Goosed the officer when he was not looking.
If they used a candy cane it would be like a Christmas goose.

Not sure what they did, but I can guarantee they weren't trying to cross the border.
Maybe that's what happened and the kind officer is driving them down to sign up for free health care and some tasty food stamps.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 72°F and cloudy. Expect high of 85°F and 40% rain chance.

Must return to grocery store either today or tomorrow. Forgot milk, chocolate milk, grapefruit juice (for me) and breakfast croissants (for wife) while out shopping yesterday. May visit this morning during my walk.

On local news just now: staffing shortages. Employers can't find people to work.

Monday, Monday....

Wishing happiness and health for all our fellow D-League members.

Hmmmmm, never had a cherry cobbler, cherry pie yes but, never cobbler. Had black berry, peach, apple cobblers though. Not going anywhere today so... ;)

Morning legionnaires!

As stated above, not going anywhere today, rained yesterday and supposed to rain the rest of this week. If we catch a break I will get out for a few hours of fishing. Will have to look at the radar and see if if gives me a good 2 to 3 hours window. Have not been to the local lake just down the road so, it is time to give it a try again. Temperature will be up to 80° today which is warmer than it has been but, back into the 70's for the foreseeable future. Loving it this cool in May. High 80's to low 90's is the norm here for May.

Wife installed a Firestick this weekend and we are going to give it a shot to see if it is any good. Anybody else have Firestick? Going to get rid of Sling and a couple of other cheap ones we have because together they get almost as high as Dish and DirectTV trying to get some of the channels I want.

Yes, That is how my wife cooks it. She injects it with her mixture of seasonings first and then into the air fryer which cooks it quicker than the oven.
Unless you have a convection oven...which is basically what an air fryer is, only bigger.

We've got 3 of them, along with 4 Roku's. Works fine as long as you have good internet service. Are some some functions of the Roku I like better (search function for one).

In a hurry....have a good day all.
