Lady Cats in the Final 4, um, sorry they call it the semi-finals. Don't want to be an anti-volleyballite. 7 PM Thursday against Washington. I'm not much for the sport although it's a lot of fun to play but hey, it's still UK.

Good morning D, beautiful here in the Berg, supposed to get up to 71, then snow flurries tonight! Weather in Kentucky!! Got to get my plants undercover for tonight and tomorrow!
What a night! I was so tired I went to bed at 8:30, then up at 3, hurt all over!!! My mind says, hey Cord, you can still get down on the floor, pull and tug, kick that kicker just like you use to! Now my body is telling me, if you ever listen to your mind again, I'm outta here!!! Stiff and sore this morning, but I am still upright, mostly!!! Every thing will be ok though, as my old DI would, walk it off and shake it off you pansy!!!! Not his exact words!!!!

Good morning from Shawanee, TN. Currently 55°F and sunny. Today's high could reach 72°F. Gorgeous here. Cold front coming tomorrow. We may receive snow.
Trip from Austin to Smith's Grove took 13 hours, 50 minutes. Wreck on I-40 near Jackson, TN near MM 73 slowed me down. Construction at exit 83 in Jackson slowed me even more. Great visiting with Bert and Sherry and that other fella again. Wonderful food.
I looked at lots in Ambassador Shores on Nolin Lake. What I found requires much development. Not worth the headaches right now.
Visited with daughter and granddaughter last night. Had fun.

Would think of making one, but the Mrs is out with a friend and called to see what I wanted from one of the best doughnut shops around. Doughnuts...cake? Cake....doughnuts? There was a day I would take both.
My uncle had a place that was nice on Ambassador Shores Dr.........at least it was after I spent several summers working on it.......if you ever get back down there you will see his place.......I built a 16' octagon gazebo in the front with a walkway to the front deck.......it was a single wide trailer....we built around it.........I worked there almost every weekend for three years.........vacations and just about every time I had some time off.........Good morning from Shawanee, TN. Road Trip! Short one like me to the nearest grocery with a bakery.
For a fact. At my first house in Jacksonville I had so much spanish moss that sometimes it would fall down and actually stop my lawn mower if I underestimated its size. I had 5 live oaks and two long needle pines in my yard and a ton of moss.St Johns River. This was once Bert H's backyard back in the old days
We had a little creek just up from the St. John's across the street. My son kept us in shrimp with his little cast net. Best shrimp known to man.
When I was much younger I would get me a bottle of hootch on Friday night........find me a woman and have a lot of fun if you know what I mean........now I have to make a decision.......hootch or woman and fun......

I just bought an upside down cake mix this morning. Just got back to my computer and saw this. My Darling has been wanting one. I guess I picked the correct day...

I bought one of those nets.....my buddy has one and catches our bait when we go trophy stripper fishing........I can do a lot of things.........but that net tested my patience to the point that I gave it away......

The Mrs and friend stopped at the doughnut shop. They had an appointment so both are dressed nice. Our friend drives a new BMW SUV......so they didn't look destitute. They're standing in line and when they get to the display cases a black lady behind them tells them and the girl at the counter that she (the stranger) is paying for whatever they want. The Mrs insists that she pay for her own...lady wouldn't hear of it. Then she tells her with a chuckle that I want about 8 dozen, and the lady smiles and says that's fine..I'm going to pay.
Bottom line the lady paid for hers, the Mrs, and our friend. Told the Mrs that if we would ever find out who the lady was that I would bet she's a church member somewhere. Mrs agreed in that the lady told them to have a blessed day, etc.
Side note....I didn't get 8 dozen....the Mrs must have messed up.

@awf .... have you ever heard of blindness due to pigeons? Or chickens?
My brother was telling me this morning about a friend of his who is totally blind in one eye. The eye specialist told him years ago (when it first happened) that it was because of pigeons. Don't know if he raised them as well...or spent time around them in the park? My brother thought that he told him one time that it was some type bacteria, etc in their droppings?

My cousin lives close by. His place is located less than 500 feet from lower end of Ambassador Shores Dr, just across the water.
Histoplasmosis if I am remembering correctly. (Didn't even look it up. Not that old...

ATX, don't know if it was mentioned or not, but don't hang Uncle Ken's ornament from a suction cup in a window or use monofilament fishing line. Suction cup will let loose and mono will deteriorate, use braided and hang it from a window lock if you put it in a window. I have ask people where something is I made for them, they will say, I threw it away cause it was hanging in the window a fell and broke. I will ask them didn't I say don't do it like that and they will just look at me and say yes!
