The Cats hung in there. Not a bad loss against one of the best teams in the country. With their offensive woes I wonder if they'll eventually give Beau Allen a shot. 4-star Kentucky kid known for his passing. Why not at this point?
Kentucky had a passing quarterback today and no attempt was really made to take advantage of it. Convinced a good throwing qb in not in Stoops DNA.

It is a windy 53.1°F here and 53 is the high. The humidity is down to 42%, so the fall pattern is definitely gone. Tonight it is supposed to end up at 28°. Burr.

The Cats tried but they simply can't get going offensively. I thought we had a chance to develop a good offense with the good performance against Mississippi and Mississippi State, but nope.

Happy Sunday morning to all of you.

Good Sunday to all ... yawn...

Good Sunday Morning

Trust all are well and enjoy an extra hour sleep. It is 73°F and clear and we should get up to 82° by mid afternoon. A very nice Sunday weather wise.

Well you can't win in the SEC without an offense and UK does not have an offense. Why I do not know but it is obvious.

Have a good day and may the Lord be with you.

Seems like it truly is one thing after another. The hospital just called and told us that we tested positive for Covid. Our oldest daughter and granddaughter also tested positive. Thank goodness they are both asymptomatic. They said that since I had a runny nose and sneezing, that I had a cold on top of it. As Charlie Brown would say, Good Grief.

Bless you brother Sir! I have added you and your family to my prayer list. God's intervening power to you and yours!

Oh, hello all and may God be your rock. God can provide and will provide. He is never late and is ALWAYS right on time if you trust and obey... There is no other way....

Watching the Trump Peaceful Protest in Michigan and all I can say it is cold, cold and colder. Those folks are tough souls. I really admire those of you who can live in that type of climate. I would die before the sun came up.

Anyone but you Sir, maybe.

I spent the first 19 years of my life in Michigan. My older brother and sister live there. My brother and sister (In-law) have been to a couple Trump rally's. It DO get cold.... Real cold... If I never am touched by another snowflake it will be okay. ;)

Afternoon all y'all.
We are starting our week long Maintenance outage today. They're telling me I'll probably be working 10-12 hour days until next Tuesday. Oh well... I'll make up for it throughout the year.
I voted last week, took me an hour. Got that over with.
I'm as far North as I ever wanna be in regards to where I'm living. If I ever move, it'll be south that's for damn sure.
Stay well...

Thanks. We stayed home and attended church, on line, for months, then we think it is safe to go back, which we did last Sunday, and test positive this week. Back to on line service, today. However, we certainly did not get it from attending church. We caught it baby sitting grandkids.

Am so sorry to hear that Sir. Yes, my wife and I are regularly concerned as my youngest daughter is a nurse and works around those sickened with this disease and my oldest daughter is in the medical field too. They live with us as do our two youngest grandchildren. They are in the process of moving to their own places after almost two years.

It is a stress that always lingers underneath. Almost when, not if...

I have realized that isolating yourself, and taking every precaution, does no good as long as you are willing to let kids and grandkids visit. You have no way to control where they have been, and how they have acted while they were out and around.

Good luck to you Ben. I'm sure you and your wife will get through this just fine.

This old timer was a female super star at the height of her acting career. She was also a Colonel in the US Army. They don't make them like her anymore in Hollywood

Didn't know much about her so I looked her up. Looks like she had a number of problems. 7 husbands. An attempted suicide. And a lot of health problems in the last few years....Alzheimer's and lost both legs a few years before she died. Buried at Ft. Bragg.

Always amazes me when a movie/TV star you're familiar with, who seems so happy, etc in interviews, talk shows, roles they play, and you find that their personal life is so full of problems and/or misery.

Freeze warning here tonight. Wind chill is already down to 34 degrees. I say it every year, "I'm just not ready for this".
Same here. I must be weird, but I seem to tolerate winter better than I did years ago. Guess it's the only time of the year that I get to relax some....once the grass starts growing in April it seems that's all I do. So I don't mind it...unless I have to get out in it. Cold tonight but looks like it's getting back to the low 60s later in the week. I'll take it.

In a way I look forward to the Winter months, especially during the holiday season. We build a lot of fires mainly for atmosphere and it's quite cozy. Come February I'm ready for Spring.

It surprises me when a movie star has a normal happy life. It seems a person who spends their life pretending would have a hard time dealing with reality. Perhaps that's part of why so many of them are so far left?

I am at the point where I will go forward as normal. Wear a mask where mandatory but nowhere else. I am in the herd immunity mindset. If I am to die, then it was God's will to bring me home.

I told my wife that maybe this was a blessing, since we have only been mildly impacted by the virus. Now, we can live normally, again, without having to worry about everything, since we will now have antibodies to keep us from contracting it again.

So many of them strive for fame, and once they get it, they realize that you can't turn it off. It's there every minute you are out in public, and you can't live a normal life. It has to wear on you.

I have always thought that acting if such a weird occupation. Spend your entire life 'playing' like you're someone else. Just makes no sense to me.

20s in the Buckeye State. Now that is getting chilly. But, worse will come in the next few months. Had a lot of wind yesterday, front coming in I guess, no rain. But with the wind Mother Nature did her part in taking care of a lot of leaves in the yard. With a lot of big trees in the front and back yard areas there was getting to be a lot of leaves. Thought on Saturday of mulching them and taking them over to the vegetable garden and spread them to rot over the winter, but didn't. Now most are gone....but there's still plenty on the trees so there will still be work to be done.

Everyone have a great start to the work week (even those of us that don't do the 'daily grind')

Morning Legionnaires!

While others will now be getting colder, we are getting back to the norm. All week will be in the 70's here. Looks like I might try a couple of fishing days. Start later in the afternoon and see what I can pull in.

Have not voted yet. Early voting was supposed to be Thursday-Saturday voting last week but, the site that was supposed to be for early voting here that we found on line was not open when we went Saturday morning. So, we will go tomorrow late afternoon after my wife gets off of work.
