This morning I woke up with a runny nose and watery eyes. My first thought COVID-19 has struck. Since I do not know anyone with it my second thought was where did I catch it? I went to church Sunday so did I get it there.

Then I looked at the ceiling and discovered my wife had turned the ceiling fan on during the night. I am allergic to ceiling fans..

I knew it was going to happen, traffic has increased at the druggy house next door, a few cars in and out during the night! My trout to Arkansan to trout fish may not happen now, will discuss it with Mrs. M, I will worry about her with this going on next door with me being gone.

Mrs. M had to empty the ATM this morning, property was sold where it was setting, she said people are losing their minds over it!!! "Oh what are we going to do with it gone, is my money still in it?!!!! I told her someone will call in the morning asking them, do you know that your ATM is missing, did somebody steal it?

Still 22 days and 20 hours till my fishing trip, but I am not counting.

• Saw a Whitetail Doe with Fawn this morning. That fawn was running well. It must have been about 2 weeks old.
• The Alpacas are back. Neat to see them.
• Watched "Fatal Attraction" this afternoon. Scarry-ass movie.

estimate to repair pool pump from a vendor 600.00 Cost to repair cause I’m not a dumb ass. 7.50 start capacitor. Running like new. With that, I can’t imagine how many are bilked out of money because they have no idea. I’m blessed to have the mechanical abilities I have.

We have 80° and it is partly cloudy with a 45% chance of rain this afternoon. Our high will be 89°. Saying prayers for those in the path of Miss Laura. This is not the first rodeo for Texas and Louisiana and they will be ready for this little blow.

I enjoyed watching the young man from Kentucky speak last night. He could have been mine or your son who was attacked by this mob and the media but he handled it well and was very well spoken. Very impressive and he is a fighter. We need more young people like him. Parenting no doubt has a lot to do with a youngster with such character. Good luck in the remainder of your lawsuits young man. MAGA

71.2°F and sunny. The clouds are supposed to move in with a 40% chance of rain today. I hope the hurricane weakens and spares a lot of damage to the gulf coast. When I lived in Houston I dodged hurricanes but they got us a few times in Florida but they were weak ones. In 1992 Andrew ripped Homestead and Miami area a new one but in Jacksonville we had some rain, but Andrew changed Florida's building codes for the good.

They have been paving our street this week and hopefully will have it done before the rain sets in. The rains this past week stopped them dead in their tracks after they started. So for nearly a week we have had an ugly street and a bunch of heavy equipment in it. Such is the cost for a new street.

I did not watch any of the convention last night. I guess I will get caught up today. The kid from Covington, Kentucky's Attorney General and my eye doctor, Rand Paul, were on last night. I will be interested to see what they said.

Folks in that area of the coast of Texas/Louisiana border need to be getting out of the way. NWS used the term “unsurvivable storm surge” in their 11AM update. Predicting 15-20ft high wall of water coming inland. Lake Charles alone concerned that up to 30,000 homes and business will flood.

A 15-20 ft wall of water can wipe out some of the best structures. I am glad I live a few hundred miles inland.

I pray that it weakens a lot and spares those good folks. Man, I have eaten some good food down there and I love the accents.
