Today was the first time I'd heard of it too. It's made right there in your backyard too, Louisville.Have not but since it's Kentucky Proud I'll have to now. Thanks!
Really? How could I have missed it. Out of touch these days I guess. Research is in my future.Today was the first time I'd heard of it too. It's made right there in your backyard too, Louisville.
Off subject, kind of, but this is the best store bought chili powder.Today was the first time I'd heard of it too. It's made right there in your backyard too, Louisville.
Well, my daughter came home and said that there were about half of the students there compared to last year. They wore mask all day, and cannot congregate between classes. They are allowed by all teachers only two bathroom breaks per semester, if they take more they have detention the next morning upon arrival at school until class time. What the heck is that all about. There were other rules now in place that were also harsh but, too many to list here now.I work at a high school and can tell you the format we are using right now. Under normal conditions, we have around 800 students total. Out of that rounded number of 800, we had students/parents select from three options:
1. Attend school in person
2. Attend school (i.e. be counted on the school roster) but do all assignments from home/correspondance with teacher via computer/email/zoom
3. Withdraw from the school roll and enter a full virtual diploma program, sponsored by the county/state.
We had about 440 of the 800 choose to attend in person school, while all others are at home/computer/zoom. Of those 440, they are divided in half with 220 in "group A" and the other 220 in Group B. The A group attends in person on Mondays/Thursdays while B attends on Tuesday/Friday; Wednesday is all kids at home, staff/faculty at school doing virtual, online lessons as the custodian staff cleans the building.
It's like a ghost town around here in a normally bustling high school setting. We are having high school football games, but capping the ticket sales/attendance at 30% capacity.
Sorry to hear about your boxer. Yes, thanks, very much so. Walking keeps the weight down. I also find a little loose change during these little jaunts.I've worked 40 hours in the last 3 days. That's a lot for an old guy, so my walking is very sporadic. Before Maddie (my boxer) died, I'd walk her a minimum of an hour a day. It was good for me and she loved it. A tired boxer is a good boxer. Anyhow, hope you are enjoying your walks.
Makes me want to go out and buy a bad car.Good morning from ATX. Currently we're at 74°F with 55% humidity. Clear. Today's high is expected at 101°F and is our 39th day this summer to reach triple digits. We're also at 18 straight days in triple digits. Bah.

Wishing happiness and continuing good health to all our fellow D-League members.

I prefer the "before" photo. Having traversed throughout the state from the Everglades to Pensacola and nearly everywhere in between, I'm convinced that much of the state of Florida was not meant to be built on with congested development.Brickell Key Before and after

I don't think I have any Irish in me but I sure do love their music.
Scot-Irish for me or as my grandfather would say Ulster-Scot on my fathers side. English and one German (g-grandmother) on my mother's side..I have Irish, Scottish, and other assorted flavors.
Yes, I sure agree. Brickell Key is man made and is dredged up sand. The early developer of Miami was a Henry Flagler and he made the channel in the Miami River deeper and in the process the dredged up sand formed two islands. I have no idea if it is on bedrock or not but I would doubt it.I prefer the "before" photo. Just found out @jedwar broke it.what's with the new web site look?
I just realized I can't post pictures anymore. Is there a new method?what's with the new web site look?
So far I don't like it. I guess I'll get use to it though.Good Friday morning
Today is garbage day so I need to get it out to the road. Meanwhile our temperature is 72° and clear. We had a little shower overnight and that was nice. We should make it to 88° this afternoon and all eyes will be on the Gulf the next few days as there is a little disturbance forming and heading that way.
So our board format changed overnight and it may take a little time for me to adjust. Trust the D-League participants have a nice day and stay safe. Black bears are roaming all over America

She put the quarters out there. That's what QB does. You never did say how your metal detector hones in on dollar bills? Or, could it be that the paper portion of the morning haul was what your wife laid down on the nightstand?
