Guys, obviously Sawyer Smith was too injured to play. The coaching staff should be ashamed for putting him out there. Sawyer did not tell them the truth about his injuries. They should have tested his throwing strength. He could not have faked it. Shame on the offensive coaching staff!!! Good night.

Good morning all, Well, shitty morning actually. The Cats looked like the Joker era, and my dog is sick and woke me up at 4 AM. So there's that. I turned it off after the first half, couldn't watch it. Turned on the Ohio State - Nebraska game, and it was worse than ours.

We are going to Phoenix for Thanksgiving, and my son is a transplanted Arizona State fan. He got us tickets for the ASU-Oregon game. Should be fun. He has a good view of Sun devil stadium outside his office window. I haven't been to a west coast game since we lived in California 40 years ago.

Headed out for breakfast this morning with the wife, run a few errands and maybe hit the pool for a hour or two. Y'all have a good restful Sunday

Good Sunday morning D League

Well mid way through the 3rd quarter of last nights game I started having flashbacks to the Joker era and turned off the game. I see we did score a touchdown. When Kentucky is bad in football they are bad, very bad. It was obvious something was wrong with the quarterback so maybe the bye week will allow him to heal a little. Meanwhile the Cats have to find a consistent offense. I guess that means Bowden at QB. But I fear he is going to get beat to death back there too.

I hate to throw away such a promising season. Our schedule will never be easier or more favorable than the one we have this year. Oh well time for another cup of coffee as I get ready for church. I am praying the pastor will have words of encouragement this morning. But he is a Gator fan so not much hope there either. Football can break you heart. Take care D-League and I will say a prayer for those who are banged up; or feeling ill. I guess all of the D League is feeling sick this morning so I will be praying for everybody

Exactly Don. Why leave Smith in to further injure himself and kill his confidence even more?

Good morning D-League.

I guess i can confess that the football losses never really hit me nearly as hard as the basketball losses. I started following the Cats —at least my earliest memories — in 1966. My dad and uncles were all good to very good basketball players from high schools too small for football. They were fanatics about Rupp’s Runts. The Cats football team was never very good and i have few memories of watching them play.

I feel for you D-Leaguers who suffered through last night. I feel that way after a hoops loss.

I got up early with a clear head and shuffled through a six mile run in spectacular weather, thoughts of Big Blue Madness in my head. ,

Fork U is fun to watch. My second favorite team in collegiate sports. They gave one away at the end against Colorado but are 4 and 1 with 2 victories over top twenty teams on the road. Games are often the last of the day so there's that.

Good Sunday D-League,
Man, what a disaster of a game last night. I thought I was watching UK with Bill Curry as the coach, a harkening back to the early 90's when I was a student at UK and would watch our hapless wildcats barely be able to move the ball or stop anyone on D. After half time, I just changed the channel over to watch the Atlanta Braves. Call me a "bad fan" or whatever, I don't care; it's better than watching that garbage performance from UK. Good luck the rest of the way Cats; I hope we can pull out a couple of wins for a 4-8 season.

Otherwise, it's another hot, steamy day here in the Chattanooga area with highs in the mid 90's all week. I hope you all enjoy your day....and Go Braves!!! as they move toward the MLB playoffs

Good morning from ATX. Looking at 80°F and cloudy right now, Expecting upper-90s later on today after some hopefully precious rainfall.

Cats stunk it up last night. That's all I'm gonna say. No football game scheduled next weekend. Razorbacks come to Lexington on October 12. Must win at least 4 out of next 7 games for bowl eligibility.
