Tomorrow could have been the perfect day to build a Raspberry Pi music server I've been wanting to give a go. Almost pulled the trigger last week. Damn! Stuck in the house again. At least the Cats are on late.

Good morning everyone.
More physical work yesterday picking up rocks on the side of the hill for new food plot just above the house. I'm sore this morning. We're starting to see more deer around here so trying to keep them away from the houses a little bit and our neighbor's dogs.
Raining here but we're not expected to get the rain like western/central KY. Prayers for everyone in the high risk areas. However, we're expected to get 7-10" of snow next Wednesday and Thursday. We planned to drive to Florida for the week Thursday but we'll move it up to Tuesday and just stay awhile longer. It's good to be retired.
Robinson, Butler, & Kerr out for tonight's game....our 3 top "point guards". It will be tough but hope we can bring our A game. Man, would love to see all 3 back in time to make a serious run during tourney time. I'm sure that is the main goal w/ Robinson and Butler. Not sure about Kerr.

Well Bert, looks like we are in for a little bit of rain in our area, I've seen 3-6" and 4-7"! They have been wrong in their prediction a lot so far, I hope they are wrong on the downside with this also!!

I spoke too soon this morning. Lots of flooding in my community again today.
Little nervous about this game but these Cats are resilient.
I'm satisfied. Good half. Noah is one tough Kentucky boy.
Disappointed. Gritty performance though given the circumstances. Too many opportunities squandered. Too many missed free throws. Can't say I'm surprised. No point guards other than Freshman Perry, a bubble team at home that desperately needed a signature win. So close. Seems like every time they had a chance to extend the lead they turned it over.

Had thunder last night. Lots of rain though I'm sure people further south had more & worse. Got up at 7a+ & still light rain, maybe frozen bits. Now we have 2" of snow & city plows coming thru. Really coming down heavy. Not expected to last long, but at this rate could pile up. Oh yes, good day.

Cats let a winnable game get away. There comes a point with injuries when even the players not injured are forced to play outside their best zone and the whole entity becomes unstable. The Cats are at that point down Butler, Robinson and Kriisa. Put any of the three on the court healthy, and that game is a win.

I feel the Cats played a good game without two starters; however, there were a lot of unforced turnovers and the free throw shooting of my man Williams really hurt.

The BB and I skipped church this morning and slept in... we both feel bad. My Darling made it in though...
Came home and cooked this: I haven't had sausage in a real long while...
My Darling would have fried the potato but I said no.... Hadn't put on the Log Cabin yet but I did, with coffee with coconut powder.... I am thankful..............
OH too..... The last couple times my BIL and SIL visited my SIL brought her sister, My Darling three of these: I figured if any of you lived around this person I'd put a plug in... Good stuff... (I do not know and have never met this person...)

I set out a 5 gallon bucket before all the rain started, I checked it this morning, over 8" of water in it! We also ended up with about 2" of snow, it must have started around 3 this morning
Yeah my parents called and said their flooding is bad enough they can't use the road just down from their street, think they are stuck for a day or 2.
On the basketball team, I was on a trip this week, didn't get to see the Tenn game, got home just in time for Texas game. That was a rough one. Hope all is well with the D-League

My son in the Interior Department is suddenly nervous about his job. We'll see.
Cold and blustery here, but at least the freezing rain has stopped for now. Hang in there, and make the most of Monday.

Good morning everyone
Our power went out for about 5 hours yesterday due to a tree falling on the line down the road about a mile. There have been a lot of slides and falling trees around here. We were getting ready for church when the power went out. It didn't matter to me, but wife couldn't "fix" her hair, etc so we stayed home. There has been some flood damage around here, but no deaths in our county. Oh, Mom & Dad and other family are/were flooded in next to Salt River. I expect the creek that blocks one side has already went down enough to get out this morning.
We're expecting big snow again starting tomorrow night - Thursday so we're heading south a bit early...tomorrow about lunch. We won't get back from FL until last day of Feb or 1st day of March. I may miss some B-ball games.

Hope your day went better than planned. Starting tomorrow My Darling is preparing for eye surgery. Just an office visit tomorrow but then a visit to her doctor next week. Her actual surgery is not until after mid-March but this is different than a regular procedure. She has to have two different surgeries on the same eye. First cataract in preparation for the interior surgery on that same eye. Won't go into details but if you've a mind say a prayer. My Darling is the salt of the earth type. (Seriously) Not comparing as I know there are a lot of fine woman out there. I am thankful, I wish I could take this one for her...

May the Lord be with your wife. I am on two medications for my eyes and have a large blind spot in my left eye. I am one of those people who kind of puts off going to the doctor to long.
Thank you Sir. Yeah, me too.... went to a cardiologist today myself. Caught a quick appointment. Have to schedule another nuclear stress test study whatever that is...told her let me look at my work schedule and call tomorrow. I didn't have my work phone with me at the time to check my calendar. We shall see....... at LEAST my BP was back to normal, had a serious episode a couple weeks ago but am told it was stress, but I do not stress. NEVER have had BP issues which is what alarmed me. Me just being angry with some work leadership... MTF on that one when I can. Thanks again...

I lived in Vertrees Ky. my last 3 years of High School when we moved from Louisville. Well, at least that was my address area. We were deep into the woods on a 52-acre farm. Went to West Hardin High in Stephensburg Ky. which was a 22 mile bus ride to school one way.Good morning all..............ouch...

VH, Four Mile Creek which comes in off the River a couple miles west of the Grove and circles behind the town will be flooded at 53 feet, and the backwater will be up in the fields behind 3rd and 4th streets, but no water in basements yet.
Cats with a near-desperate situation tonight. I hope they play that way. Sick about these injuries which have jeopardized this really fun season.

Some people worried about not making NCAA tournament. 2 more wins gets us in imo. UK with 19 wins or better is in. Money drives the train and the UK brand along with how many UK fans travel every year makes this possible. If we could just get everyone healthy by the SEC tournament, this is possible. I believe tonight and one more win by the end of SEC tourney and were are in.

Finishing up packing this morning and off to FL after lunch. We'll drive half way today.
We still don't have water here since yesterday morning....have power. If you see pics of a huge slip (mudslide) in the Fleming-Neon area that is in our county 20 minutes away. Edit: There is a pic of it in RR thread "Eastern KY Flooding". We're high enough that we don't worry about flooding, but we worry about slides.
