Hope this day finds you well. Eight loads of clothes. It ain't no stone for a stepper. BLT's for supper. FCC.
Ha. My folks always said, "Ain't no hill for a stepper" FCC. Haven't heard that much outside Kentucky.
I actually kinda like doing laundry, which is good because my wife hates it. But eight loads would test my enthusiasm.

Thought I covered my tracks pretty well.
I was in Sikeston at lambert's last year our group stopped there on the way to Arkansas, the place was already crowded and here come 3 or 4 Greyhound busses in, then I see all these school kids start getting off the bus and I am thinking, man this place is going to get wild! Next thing I know my Granddaughter taps me on the shoulder and says Hi Papaw!!!! You just can't go anywhere without getting seen or caught!!!

got some medical issues going on...PSA test for the last 4 yrs has been between .98 to 1.04..Last check was 3.91, next day test was 4.81. Steroids lower PSA in some cases 50% and I've been on steroids for the last week because of a back issue, that tells me my PSA could be much higher, Which in turn tells me I may have cancer. Maybe or maybe not, who knows . See a urologist next week. Tomorrow epidural in lower back because of past surgeries ( scar tissue ) and arthritis. According to Dr. Google a symptom of prostate cancer is sciatica issues with pain down the legs, what I'm having now..Been on a low carb diet for the last few weeks and have dropped 19lbs to help lower back issues.
Lotsa good eating on this type of diet, you don't go hungry.

Prolly gonna keep my pool open for a few weeks more ( it has a heater) When I cover it, it puts me into the winter gonna get cold funk.. Wish I lived in a climate where you never have to wear long pants weather-wise..

Bout all I got..

You are in our thoughts and prayers and we and we trust the doctor has some good news.:pray:

Good morning D League

Nice sunny morning down here the overnight low was a pleasant 61°, It will be in the 87° range this afternoon with a nice breeze. I am going to load up my pick up truck and head to the recycling area and get rid of some old metal furniture and yard waste. I do this about once a week.

Looking forward to getting back on track Saturday in Columbia, SC. Columbia can be one of the hottest cities in the South but the Cats should be use to that by now. My son and grandson will be there so maybe they can bring us some luck. We really need this game. One reason we need it is to keep the fans interest. With basketball season approaching past history has shown if the football team is not doing well our fans tend to turn all of their attention to BB. Personally i can wait for the basketball season to start. I still have hopes for a decent bowl like maybe the Gator in Jacksonville. But a loss to South Carolina will make that hard. Go Cats.

Good morning D! We got to see our granddaughter play her last game at home for the year, she didn't score, but had a couple assists. She is just a freshman, so we have 3 more years to watch her play. Also last night we saw one of the young ladies score her 100th goal for her career and she is just a junior, the team looks good for next year barring injuries!

WELL I got the lowdown on Cat in Tn last night and it's good to hear what an outstanding member of the D we have!!!! You must have covered your tracks really good!!

This morning I am thinking about getting out and doing a little metal detecting, I got permission yesterday on some property that they are clearing off. I remember the house that was there before it taken over by trees. Going to go talk to the lady that lived there over 50 years ago to try and get a layout of where everything was, garden, clothes line, outhouse(don't dig there)!!!!

I know there are prayers to be said for some of the D, so prayers will and have been said!!!

This!!!:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: they are trying to make a example of us says Bill(into my)Self!!!!! I hope they do!!!!!![banana][banana][banana][banana][banana][banana][banana][banana]

I hope everyone has a great day!

Hopefully you get good news from the doctor and get to feeling better soon:pray:.

Hi D-Leauge,
Not much interesting to report on around here; just another mundane workday in a very stressful job. Lately, I fantasize about quitting my job and taking up a very simple job, like loading boxes on a truck or just doing some simple labor job where I don't have to think and don't have to make such important decisions where I have to navigate a maze of people with different agendas.

We had a very crisp, pleasant morning in the 50s, but the high will make its say up in the 90s again and through the weekend. We have another cross country race this weekend in Rome, GA and hopefully will be back in plenty of time to watch UK try to upset South Carolina.

I thought that the season kinda turned sideways on us last week. This game is must win, if there ever was one, to salvage a decent season.

Howdy D-Leaguers. Nice cool day in DC. Second night of not sleeping all that well. My wife has a tooth problem that keeps her up and down and I somehow pulled a muscle in my back. Damn, this getting old stuff really isn't for the weak.

Finally watched the first part of the Ken Burns Country Music documentary. I don't know if that is being discussed here as I've been too busy to keep up with everything. But I enjoyed the video biographies of Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter family.

You're not as old as some of us, but, you are right. Getting old is not for sissies.

Sorry to hear this. I found out that I had prostate cancer in September 2016. They did 12 biopsies and 7 of them were cancerous (one stage 4). On Jan. 10, 2017 they inserted 71 Iodine 125 laced titanium pellets into the cancerous parts of my prostate.

Last spring my oncologist fired me and told me to come back when I had cancer. I now see my urologist once a year. My PSA is usually around 1 or below.

Cancer is scary stuff. Don't waste time. Speed is on your side.
