I was in Sikeston at lambert's last year our group stopped there on the way to Arkansas, the place was already crowded and here come 3 or 4 Greyhound busses in, then I see all these school kids start getting off the bus and I am thinking, man this place is going to get wild! Next thing I know my Granddaughter taps me on the shoulder and says Hi Papaw!!!! You just can't go anywhere without getting seen or caught!!!Thought I covered my tracks pretty well.![]()
Did you go out by Earlington Lake? That lake is being taken over by the Lilly pads!!!!I was there last weekend for the reunion. Try to get back every couple of months.
Yea they get the Lilly mower out ever once in a while and mow them down!!1 Nice meeting you Cat, I am headed over there to get the scoop on you! Just kidding going to watch my granddaughter play her last game of the year. Ya'll be good!No I didn’t but think it had been that way for some time.
Perfect fit.
What other bases did you get to do training at? I did my basic at Ft. Leonard Wood, and I also did some training at Ft. Campbell and Ft. Knox.
A couple of us, myself included, tried out for EOD at Fort Campbell. Those suits are no joke.
Fort Benning, and Fort Bliss. Attended NCO academies at Fort Campbell and Hohenfels, Germany. USAREC at Fort Ben Harrison, Indianapolis. Battle Staff at Fort Bliss. What other bases did you get to do training at? I did my basic at Ft. Leonard Wood, and I also did some training at Ft. Campbell and Ft. Knox.

Hope ya feel better soon and urologist delivers good news next week.got some medical issues going on...PSA test for the last 4 yrs has been between .98 to 1.04..Last check was 3.91, next day test was 4.81. Steroids lower PSA in some cases 50% and I've been on steroids for the last week because of a back issue, that tells me my PSA could be much higher, Which in turn tells me I may have cancer. Maybe or maybe not, who knows . See a urologist next week. Tomorrow epidural in lower back because of past surgeries ( scar tissue ) and arthritis. According to Dr. Google a symptom of prostate cancer is sciatica issues with pain down the legs, what I'm having now..Been on a low carb diet for the last few weeks and have dropped 19lbs to help lower back issues.
Lotsa good eating on this type of diet, you don't go hungry.
Prolly gonna keep my pool open for a few weeks more ( it has a heater) When I cover it, it puts me into the winter gonna get cold funk.. Wish I lived in a climate where you never have to wear long pants weather-wise..
Bout all I got..

Howdy D-Leaguers. Nice cool day in DC. Second night of not sleeping all that well. My wife has a tooth problem that keeps her up and down and I somehow pulled a muscle in my back. Damn, this getting old stuff really isn't for the weak.
Finally watched the first part of the Ken Burns Country Music documentary. I don't know if that is being discussed here as I've been too busy to keep up with everything. But I enjoyed the video biographies of Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter family.
Sorry to hear this. I found out that I had prostate cancer in September 2016. They did 12 biopsies and 7 of them were cancerous (one stage 4). On Jan. 10, 2017 they inserted 71 Iodine 125 laced titanium pellets into the cancerous parts of my prostate.got some medical issues going on...PSA test for the last 4 yrs has been between .98 to 1.04..Last check was 3.91, next day test was 4.81.
