Good Friday the 13th morning D League

Drinking a strong cup of coffee as we wait for the sun to rise. Our current temperature is 71°F and we are forecast for 86°F about 2:00 PM We are looking at some weather out on the water which may bring us some rain through the weekend.

Football is center stage down here and one of the biggest on our schedule will take place Saturday night. Go Cats.

Hello good people of the D-League,
Another blazing hot day ahead with a high of 99 predicted. For the second time this week, we set another daily record for September yesterday with a humid, muggy, 98 degrees. Summer is still holding on around here.

Later this evening I'll be at a high school football game; the school I work at going against the school my kids attend. I may have to make an appearance in both fan sections of the stadium during the game. Hopefully, the heat index will not be so bad at 7:00 tonight since that rule is in place where, if the temp/humidty produce a heat index of 105 or higher, the sports (or whatever) gets postponed or cancelled.

I'm optimistic about UK playing the gators tomorrow, but a little bit trepidatious due to the unknown about our QB situation. I'd love to see him step right in and throw some bombs that our guys bring in for some big gains. I want to see UK play UF in a very physical, tuff, aggressive style. I want UF to leave the game saying that playing against UK was the most exhausting, toughest, physical, most miserable team they go against. Leave it all out on the field......and please, UK, no stupid penalties!!!

Good morning D, I hope all is well. I hope UK pulls it off tomorrow, we really need this win! I figure if the backup (SS) wasn't any good he wouldn't have been recruited or he wouldn't be out there tomorrow.

I have been praying for those who need it.

Headed out in a few to do some stained glass, got a couple repairs that need to be done.

I saw a small bird of prey this morning, not sure if it was a small hawk or a falcon. It had a patch of yellow feathers on each side of it's eyes running vertical on his head, beautiful bird!!

Morning D League. Hope it's a good Friday the 13th. In my single days I had a friend from Argentina and one morning she told me in Latin countries they consider Tuesday the 13th an unlucky day. I told her they couldn't seem to get anything right down there, and that became an unlucky day for me.

I love all the good energy and optimism heading into the Florida game. I'm not really a competent judge when it comes to football, only played at the Little League and backyard level. So I'll just ride the positive vibes and believe with the rest of you.

The American Kestrel is the smallest American falcon and yes quite colorful. They are commonly referred to as Sparrow Hawks. The more brilliant tiercel are 1/3 smaller than the falcon.

I actually slept past my usual "wake up" time (around 5 AM). I never set an alarm because I always wake up early...not today though.
I did get see our little grand daughter before I left for work...so now everything is right with the world.
Other than kicking the shine out of Florida, I just want the Cats to compete and be in it to win it at the end.
No pressure on our QB but I got a name for a boat: The SS WinNow ...(hopefully it won't be the SS Minnow after tomorrow night.)

It is a late start for me. Already 88.5°F on the back porch and that is hot for 11:00 am. It was 95°F yesterday. This is probably the last hot spell for 2019.

Good to hear that RR is improving. Hopefully the Gator over look the Cats tomorrow. Prayer has begun that that happens.
