Yeah, I watched Ark barely beat Portland State, and some of their fans have penciled UK in as an automatic win. I guess we'll see.

I think our football team is going to be fine. We'll get shit right by the third week. Next week will work wonders for our psyche and there are plenty of people on this team that want a repeat win.

I've was married into that family over 30 years, until divorce. I was the outlier because of my KY roots and the fact I attended UK 2x. Animosity runs deep out in those mountains.

Looking out of the window and it is a beautiful Lord's Day with bright sunshine and a current temperature of 78 ° F. We are expecting a high of 85 °F. Still watching Dorian and the odds of it hitting our area. I am holding up hurricane proofing my house until the threat is real. It is a lot of work putting up steel shutters and bolting them down.
Oh boy, how about yesterday's games. Rocky Top has been turned into a rock quarry and South Carolina is in denial. Missouri loses to Wyoming. Our cats started slow but came back strong and I see lots of reason for optimism and another great year. Trust all have a great day and get some rest. The best is yet to come.
