Sorry to hear, Chief. My uncle, who is now 72 y/o, has been special needs all his life. He lives with my brother in Orlando. When mom's dementia became too much, state of FL awarded guardianship of him to one of my brothers. He's like the dude from the movie, Slingblade.

Both penalties were questionable judgement calls. Bang Bang plays with no real time for the defenders to stop or pull up.

The exact thing happened that was projected to happen. Toledo wore down in the 2nd half, qb got hurt and replaced but there wasn't much fall off there. Naturally our defense looked better. Still gave up a touchdown to a depleted team.
Not saying that this game has anything to do with the next game and I think we'll look a lot tighter next week as a group. This week will not be fun for them.

Jones just said that the stadium was 10 to 15 degrees hotter because of all the concrete and steel. Guarantee you that dumbass will swear that larger cities are hotter now than they were when they had dirt streets and wooden buildings solely because of carbon emissions.

I'm happy with the way the Cats played today. Not over-the-moon happy but still happy. Square with 11 tackles, Duffy averaging 54 yards per punt, Wilson with nice stats, trio of running backs performing well, etc. The secondary certainly had me worried (and still does) but they righted the ship somewhat in the 2nd half. All in all it's about what I expected for an opening game.

I'm OK with Stoops at this point. But I still think we should have thrown a shitload of money on a proven head coach. We're there now, but we could have been here faster. Of course Mitch has to come under scrutiny as well. The upgrade in facilities should have happened as soon as we got the first SEC channel check.
I think as long as we want to have Mark Stoops we've got him. If he wins big enough for someone to want him, he's winning big in the SEC. Where's he gonna go? We're paying him well now and it will just get better. A little more and we're paying in that zone that allows you to upgrade coaches.
