Get you a Sport Sync radio. They are great. You just get it set where the radio broadcast matches the TV, then you can mute the TV and listen to the UK network.

I do, too, but I think they called a face mask on that one. They have a lot of work to do, and a game against a weaker Eastern Mich. will let them work some things out, before playing Florida. Also will let us get our linebacker returned from the targeting penalty.

Considering the players they lost and it being the first game, the game went pretty much as expected for me.
Good game. Early jitters. Our athleticism helped. Couple boneheaded plays. Spread was 11.5 according to Vegas. We scored 14 more. Chance Poore and Duffy were nearly flawless. Great D in the second half. Lotsa hustle. Great tackling in 2nd half.

Sorry to hear, Chief. My uncle, who is now 72 y/o, has been special needs all his life. He lives with my brother in Orlando. When mom's dementia became too much, state of FL awarded guardianship of him to one of my brothers. He's like the dude from the movie, Slingblade.

Both penalties were questionable judgement calls. Bang Bang plays with no real time for the defenders to stop or pull up.

The exact thing happened that was projected to happen. Toledo wore down in the 2nd half, qb got hurt and replaced but there wasn't much fall off there. Naturally our defense looked better. Still gave up a touchdown to a depleted team.
Not saying that this game has anything to do with the next game and I think we'll look a lot tighter next week as a group. This week will not be fun for them.

Jones just said that the stadium was 10 to 15 degrees hotter because of all the concrete and steel. Guarantee you that dumbass will swear that larger cities are hotter now than they were when they had dirt streets and wooden buildings solely because of carbon emissions.

I'm happy with the way the Cats played today. Not over-the-moon happy but still happy. Square with 11 tackles, Duffy averaging 54 yards per punt, Wilson with nice stats, trio of running backs performing well, etc. The secondary certainly had me worried (and still does) but they righted the ship somewhat in the 2nd half. All in all it's about what I expected for an opening game.

UT down 4 to Georgia State mid 3rd quarter. It hasn't been a stellar day for the SEC at this point. Things may change. The Auburn/Oregon game is the big one.

Anytime UT loses is a good time. I want them demoralized by the time we play them so we can pile on the misery. Nothing sucks like a big orange.
I'm OK with Stoops at this point. But I still think we should have thrown a shitload of money on a proven head coach. We're there now, but we could have been here faster. Of course Mitch has to come under scrutiny as well. The upgrade in facilities should have happened as soon as we got the first SEC channel check.
I think as long as we want to have Mark Stoops we've got him. If he wins big enough for someone to want him, he's winning big in the SEC. Where's he gonna go? We're paying him well now and it will just get better. A little more and we're paying in that zone that allows you to upgrade coaches.
UT is going down. Bad way to start a season. South Carolina better get it together or they'll be 0-1 as well.
