Grilling today. I imagine I will be the only one doing this today. Just burgers and dogs. Going to our small town's fireworks tonight. Went last year for the first time, not expecting much. It turned out being a pretty spectacular event for a small town. Live music, food trucks, the works. I haven't heard one firework go off in our neighborhood yet.

Getting ready to go to my sister's house with my Blueberry pie for grilling! I don't know how she does it, but she makes the best potatoes cooked on the grill that I have ever eat! Puts them in foil with some cheeses and spices!!!!
I really like the D talking about their MOS (mine was armor 11e40 I think) 1970 I thinking I drove the M1A1, some one correct me ifin I am wrong. I sure some one will

Happy 4th D-Leaguers. Planning a cook out tonight. Right now, as I write this, I’m sitting on my screened back porch soaking up the sound and fury of one of the loudest and angriest thunderstorms I can ever remember. The lightning and thunder are simultaneous, and the thunder feels like it is shaking the house. Actually quite beautiful. And if it blows itself out in an hour that’ll be perfect to take the humidity out of the air tonight.

you and my wife. My wife loves a storm and enjoys the sky to be lit up like a nuclear war. We live close to the "Lightning Capital of The World" and in the summer time you get storms that are better than fireworks on the 4th.
A good thunderstorm is better than any fireworks. Louder too.
Awesome isn't it? Can't wait to get my screen on, I'll be out there for every storm that comes through. I used 2x6's for rafters and connected them with SS hurricane ties. I felt pretty safe under there last night and it got very rowdy for awhile.

I'm saddened today about Jarod. I was so worried about him. When he got his weight to over 500lbs. One of my favorite players of all time gone at 36 years old. God Bless his family and help them. Amen

It is almost 4:00 PM and the thunder is rattling the sky. The sky is clear blue with white fluffy clouds but about 30 or 40 miles from here there is some serious storms. They may head over here in a few minutes. My wife loves. it but she asked me to get out of the pool. So I obeyed. We are going to get a good one no doubt about that. It is getting more and more frequent.

I grew up in the middle class side of the southend. Because of many thug like people moving in we decided to move. Advice was to build on the east side of dixie because it was much safer and no thugs wanna be there because its redneck white. Recently on facebook I have been reading the whys and how comes we have no quality restaurants coming this side of dixie. We are getting several new fast food joints and that pisses these rednecks off. So here it is as to why nothing will ever come this way. Im a big fan of fireworks, BUT a residential neighborhood is no place them. I clean other peoples shit from my pool ever 4th. Right now its 630 and nowhere near dark but these dumbasses see a need to launch their illegal fireworks. So with that I am saying if your to ****ing stupid to even know when to fire off your illegal shit stop bitching about some minimum required class food joint coming this way. Enjoy your drive thru’s you dumb ****s. I am truly ashamed to say that but its the truth
Got my traeger put together and seasoned. Hopper is loaded with a cherry , hickory, and maple blend. Hoping to use it for cooking tomorrow.
Just enjoyed a great celebration from D.C. and President Trump. Inspite of so many celebrities hating our country, I am proud to have worn the uniform. We are blessed people.

The fireworks are kicking in full blast right now and will probably continue until midnight. I love it BUT I love my dog more. Poor girl is huddled behind the bar in our basement. Music is cranked up to mask the booms but it only helps a little.
I can hear a few going off but nothing like it's been in some years past.
It's loud. REAL loud. The Crescent Hill show starts at 10 so that'll kick it up a notch. Some folks spend a hell of a lot of cash on fireworks.

Woke up to the same weather pattern we will be having until football season comes. Warm and humid with possible thunderstorms in the evening. It is currently 75° with a high expected at 93°. Lots of sun.
I really enjoyed the fireworks over D.C. last night as we honored our service members. Funny how those who hate him are critical. I watched it with pride and gave thanks. To each his own. I see the man who won the hot dog contest consumed 21,000 calories. I think he weighs about 140 lbs soaking wet. Some things I just don't understand.
