Who knew that Punxsutawney Phil was a druggy?
No problem I will work on it. Thanks for letting me know
FCC I "DO NOT MEAN ANYTHING I SAID TO MAKE YOU THINK I AM TRYING TO BE A SMARTA$$ OK". I just don't think anything about it when I start typing.

We sure got a lot of mileage out of the paragraphs. Let's tackle commas, tomorrow!
Hmmmm. Commas, why in my day....oh wait, you said tomorrow. FCC.
I have great respect for Alan Jackson - and love his music. A lot of guys reaching stardom dump their wife, who stuck with them through their struggles, for some new sweet thang. Went through their ups and downs and are still together nearly 40 years later.
When I was in the Army our supply sgt would allow two squares of toilet paper per trainee per day, Needless to say when they wrote home every week they asked for toilet paper. Some parents sent boxes of it. I doubt you could get away with that in today's army.Verdict = true.

If you don't mind, please refrain from using more than 3 dots for your ellipsis. I know that was supposed to be for next weeks lesson but I couldn't resist.
Let's just get this cleared up early.
Summary of Commas
There are four types of comma: the listing comma, the joining comma, the gapping comma and bracketing commas.
A listing comma can always be replaced by the word and or or:
Vanessa seems to live on eggs, pasta and aubergines.

A joining comma must be followed by one of the connecting words and, or, but, yet or while:
The report was due last week, but it hasn't appeared yet.
The motorways in France and Spain are toll roads, while those in Britain are free.
A gapping comma indicates that you have decided not to repeat some words which have already occurred in the sentence:
Jupiter is the largest planet and Pluto, the smallest.
Bracketing commas always come in pairs, unless one of them would come at the beginning or the end of the sentence, and they always set off a weak interruption which could in principle be removed from the sentence:
My father, who hated cricket, always refused to watch me play.
We have a slight problem, to put it mildly.
If you're not sure about your commas, you can check them by using these rules. Ask yourself these questions:
1. Can the comma be replaced by and or or?
2. Is it followed by one of the connecting words and, or, but, yet or while?
3. Does it represent the absence of repetition?
4. Does it form one of a pair of commas setting off an interruption which could be removed from the sentence?
There is a fifth use of the comma in the song "Handyman" (sung to the choreography of "the swim.")
Yeah, we had plenty toilet paper during my basic training beginning of 1981. . No little rationing games. When I was in the Army our supply sgt would allow two squares of toilet paper per trainee per day, Needless to say when they wrote home every week they asked for toilet paper. Good money for a college student and I know the work is not easy. When I was at UK I spent my summer months working for North American Van Lines. I was a side kick on an 18 wheeler moving van going coast to coast. After the final spring class I reported for work and we hit the road. I would come back about a week before school started in the fall. Talk about an education, nothing like being on the road. I learned a lot about life moving furniture as a college kid. .Good morning D. Moving slow this early because I stayed up watching basketball with my son. Cousins gave the Warriors a boost when Durant went down. Rooting for HIM not THEM.
My son got a rare day off from him moving crew job. He’s worked as many as 20 hours in a day, and routinely 10-12. He got a two-week check- after deductions - of nearly $2,000. He’s not going to want to go back to UK at this rate.
That sounds like a hell of a great job Sawnee. My son’s moves are all regional - Baltimore to Fairfax, Va.Good money for a college student and I know the work is not easy. I am going to use a little more comma sense today!
I read that and started to hyphenventilate.
That will give a man some great experience for life. I had a friend and his wife who worked on the Alaska pipeline handling insurance claims. He and his wife stayed up there for four or five years and literally lived out of their pick up truck. He stocked up on canned goods in the states and took them to Alaska in a trailer and they would last a year. Then he would come back and reload. He save thousands of dollars on food and learned to live out of a tent most of the time. That sounds like a hell of a great job Sawnee. My son’s moves are all regional - Baltimore to Fairfax, Va.
When I was in college I had a pipeliner’s union card out of Local 798 my dad helped me get. Worked on the Alaska Pipeline one year, Montana and Wyoming one year, and another year out in Grand Junction Colorado - with the job site across the border near Cisco, Utah. Those were great days for me.
I was only 19 when I was up there in 1976. I worked out of pipeline camps in places like Tonsina and Glennallen. We were in the Copper River Valley most of the time, and in the valley of the Chugach Mountains. To get it finished fast, the job was set up on 7-14s, seven days a week, 14 hours a day. Some of that was paid time getting to and from the remote jobsites. It wasn't hard work at all, compared to jobs I did in the lower 48. But the pay was crazy. Every thing over 40 hours was time and a half and Sunday was double-time. That's s net 148 hours of pay a week. And we got overtime beyond that most weeks! I was getting weekly pay checks netting well over $1,000 after taxes in 1976. Of course, I blew it all fast once I was home. But lots of unforgettable experiences. That will give a man some great experience for life. I had a friend and his wife who worked on the Alaska pipeline handling insurance claims. When he left and came back to the lower 48 he was able to pay cash for a beautiful water front home. Not bad duty for a young married man and his wife without any children. The pay was off the charts.
And there is a known shortage of dots worldwide. My bad,. fCC.
