If I saw some fish, I would have to get busy.

I was talking about photos of your construction project.

Not much to see yet. I'll post some of the entire project when I get done.

Yes I would really like to see pics of some of the projects you have done. I like building stuff. When I was in trade school my instructor took me aside and taught me how to build cabinets, of course I didn't get to follow thru on that because I started helping my dad in the carpet business, over 35 years of that!!

I've put some on here but I can't remember which site I stored all my pictures on.

I went looking for the site with my pics but had no luck. Rooster, I think I got the site from you. What are some you've mentioned on here? I have a photobucket account but there was only one pic on there of the table. Whichever one I chose I put every picture on my phone on there.

I played outside for awhile. Got another anchor set in the concrete and failed on another. I think I've got enough in there that a few more won't help much.

I'm going to do the dishes now and I think I'll head to the golf course after that. Doubt if I'll even watch the race tomorrow. No interest at this point.

This is very nice, very nice. Love it.

Thanks! Shout out to Bert for getting me that piece of stainless steel for the top.

I've used the burners more since I built it than I have the eggs. Each burner is 15,400 BTU and will get a 12 inch CI skillet rippin hot in a jiffy. Great for smashburgers and searing steaks without smoking up the whole house.

Well, got some towels done., Mom (wife) and little bit went to town. I'm hearing from my sources that they both got new phones. Little bit's first. No more wearing down my battery. Sad kinda. She's growing up. I pity the first kid that comes over here to, well, uh, nm. FCC.
When she gets that DL you won't get to see her nearly as much as you do now. All of the males will be trying to .......................well, uh, nm.

My father had me sit in his lap and steer the car when we would go visit my country grandparents. Lane back to their house was about 2 miles long and that was the biggest thrill of my 8 year old life. Then when I was about 10 he started letting me drive it by myself. At 12 he let me drive all the way back to our house in Louisville despite my mother throwing a fit. By 14, I was driving me and him everywhere we went.

Jump ahead 2 more years and the day was coming up for me to get my DL. I had planned on going somewhere for something on that day and I told him I would just get it next week. He got pissed! Told me I wouldn't get it until I was 18 and that I wouldn't be driving any of his vehicles until I got it.

I had friends who failed the test, and friends whose parents wouldn't let them have a license, but I was only one I heard of who was forced to get it on a certain day. 40 years later and I'm driving him around again. History repeats itself.

Man you talking about weird, I was on my search and toss mission and I am going thru my KY calendars and there in the middle of them was a red one, not Losreville but WKU 1981-82 Clem Haskins, Dwayne Haskins coaches, looked at the players pics BUT not all of them. I made a call to a friend of mine who is a huge WKU fan he told me to call another friend of mine and my local State Farm agent. He told me heck yea I want it! After I hung up with him I got to thinking(bad Idea) I think he used to play for WKU. Sure enough after I looked again there he was right there on the calendar! So I just took it out to him and he was thrilled to get it! That was his sophomore year playing. I asked him if he had one said no, I told him you do now! Wanted to pay me for it but there is no way I could take money for it, Glad I kept all these years now!

Sunday our church is going to have a water baptism like people did in the old days. We are going to gather on the Gulf of Mexico and baptize in the Gulf. My mother was baptized in the same spot we are going in 1921. Almost 100 years ago. After the baptizing we will build a huge bond fire on the beach and roast hot dogs, etc., then have songs and a service on the beach and enjoy what God has created. Looking forward to it.

WC, they are there, lots of them. This river flows directly into the Gulf of Mexico and some pretty good size come swimming up the river. The river comes out of a spring and flows 11 miles to the Gulf with a constant temperature year round of 72 degrees.

Did you notice the little gator in the upper part of the photo. Just sunning and chilling.

Hope it's a good weekend ahead for the D-Leaguers. My son and I are going on a long, fairly strenuous hike up a local 'mountain,' which should be interesting. He's 19, I'm passed 60. He's had more raw energy for a few years now, but he's extravagantly wasteful in the way he uses it, while I have learned how to be efficient and effective. My prediction? He's asleep in the car as I drive him home tomorrow night.

Same for me.
