Good Saturday morning D-League

Well the rain yesterday morning made for a cool night last night with temperature at my place 53 degrees. Today we will hit mid 80's with plenty of sunshine. Lots of festivals going on all around me with the local one being the Blueberry Festival. Some old fashioned Leonard Skynard music will be heard throughout the town with many events happening. Love those blueberries.

Trust all have a great day and are in good health. Everybody stay in their lane.

Morning folks. It is 47.3°F and sunny. Yesterday we ended up getting .27" of rain. In the early afternoon it was dry enough to weed whack and mow. Good bright sun and topping out 40°F cooler than Rooster did.

Going to Lowe's today to start buying material for the screened in lanai porch patio. Looks like it's going to be a bit more spendy than I first calculated. I've designed it so there should be very little sawing involved. Hopefully just enough to correct length discrepancies found in mass produced lumber.

Got rid of my old egg table yesterday and cleared out the space in the workshop. Next project for in there will be two adirondack chairs and a matching loveseat with a cooler armrest in the middle. Couple of footstools wouldn't hurt either.

Good morning D, got a busy day today, headed to O'boro for a birthday party for our adopted granddaughter and to Lowe's to get some household supplies. I hope everyone has a great day, also stay safe!!!! ATX watching Diners,D&D last night and they were in Austin at two places Green Mesquite and OneTaco, have you been to these places?

I was going to pay cash for the materials at Lowe's but then I remembered that they give me a discount if I use my Lowe's card. They charge extra if you use cash. wth

Psychologically, I much prefer to use a debit card for large purchases. Seeing the cash leave my hand is much more painful. Sometimes I get twenty in cash so it looks like they're paying me to take something off their hands.

I remember the Farside, It had some funny dark side cartoons in it! I have one book of them that's probably 20 years old or older!!! Older "The Completely Mad Don Martin" 1974! One of the funniest cartoons was a guy in a boat in the ocean with a underwater microphone trying to listen to the sounds of whales and there was a whale right next to the microphone singing Louie Louie!!!!

Good morning from Las Vegas. Currently 72 and sunny. Mid 90s on the way later. Late flight last night. Purchased a 3-day bus pass for $20. They really sock it to tourists here.

Sitting at McDonalds near UNLV campus right now. Smashburger restaurant is nearby. Might check it out later . Already found 21 cents this morning. Where there is chaos there is money.

Rolled 17 times in a row one time in Vegas. Won just under $1500 and dude told me I could have easily won $200,000.

I just fried up a big mess of crappie. Used some Slap Yo Mama cajun breading on it. It was too much for one person, but I ate it all anyway. Put some sriracha, wasabi horseradish, cocktail sauce, and tarter sauce on my plate for dipping.

Played golf tonight. Figured some things out. I've been handcuffing myself which causes me to block shots off to the right. In an effort to fight that, I was casting the club and coming from outside to in. A total mess.

Going out this morning for a spot of fishing. Going to try 9 mile pond, one that I have not been to in a while (few years). Always caught bass there but, they were too small for me to keep. Ran in to a man at a store yesterday that said a friend of his caught a nine pound bass out of there a couple of weeks ago. Got me salivating for a lunker.

Good morning all,

Expecting a pleasant day on this the the Lord's Day. After church my wife and I are going to try out a new restaurant and then join Bert for a laid back Sunday.
I have finally got my wife in a "down sizing" mode and she has agreed to get rid of a lot of things including a nice leather couch, love seat and matching lounge chair that we will give to a local charity. We just have too much and I hate garage or yard sales so I just give it away. The kids all live in different towns and they have their own stuff and no need for it either. Someone in need can use it.

Good morning! I might be playing golf this afternoon, if I don't then I will have a lazy Sunday as well.

Ordered screen yesterday. Found what I needed on Amazon and it was $250. Wikibuy told me I could get the same thing somewhere else for $145. I did. Also went to Lowe's and got rafter hangers, 4x4 bases, concrete anchors, and a new masonry bit. Lay out should begin tomorrow.

Coffee is on the way.
