A few years ago I took Thunder up to Dawsonville, Georgia for the moonshine festival. This is Bill Elliott's home town and they have an annual "Moonshine Festival" car show of only cars that were used by Moonshine Runners. It is one of the best and really has some nice cars in it. "Running shine down highway 09" Here are a couple from that. I was loaded with 190 proof corn liquor.

The Dawsonville Pool Room is a landmark also and many great NASCAR drivers and ex-moonshine runners have enjoy a hamburger or two at the counter.

The D League is a breath of fresh air. No bickering, good solid citizens and tons of information we can use in everyday life. Plus most posters are old enough and have had life experiences that are interesting and informative. You get an education on the D League

Played in two games last night, we were run ruled in both. Half of my team is over 50 and in the upper league but I don't know why, should be lower level at our age. I hit a line drive foul third time at bat that hit the top of the left field fence. Catcher ask the ump to check my bat to make sure it was legal. He said a guy my age should not be able to hit that hard.
