D-League

Good morning D-League looks like another beautiful day here in the Berg in Western KY! Just to follow up about yesterday, my son is an engineer on the RR and was involved in an accident the other morning. Someone was setting on the tracks asleep and apparently he didn't hear the horn blaring or the sound or vibrations of the train and got hit. He woke up at the last second and tried to get of but it struck him, report is they were non-life threating injuries, but I have my doubts. My son told me that he wants to get back to work and not dwell on this. All the computer data has been checked and everything was done that could have been done to avoid this accident. Ya'll have a great day and praying for all of you that are hurting and morning the loss of loved ones! I don't know your hurts but GOD does!!!!!
That guy was lucky that your son was so competent at his job. Hats off to your son.

This drawing is 9 years old. My sister in law was the artist and she did not like it. So she was going to throw it away and I begged for it.

This is me and my two grand children in 2010. The little boy was killed in a car wreck in 2015 so this became precious to me. Last week I scanned it and cropped it to be the complete picture instead of one corner of the paper.

The sister in law also played in a rock band for decades. Some folks have talent and I got none. Dang:

No talent? Egads. Your only option then is politics.

I have a 29-year granddaughter who recently discovered she is pregnant (possibly twins). The problem is that she has miscarried twice already, so we are afraid to get our hopes up yet. She went through fertility treatments to get this far. She wants a child badly. It will crush her if she miscarries again.

Hey chief. My wife had two. Very difficult time. Grieving. FCC.

If you have it, put it up.

Don't know how but some one who does, here's where the pic is

Go to www.wpsdlocal6.com. On that home page click on the michagan man faces charges article. Go to that page. The second sentence of that [page is highlighted in blue. Click on that and prepare to see what a sucker punch looks like. FCC.

Is it just me or does Bert get his prostate checked a lot more than needed? ....I kid, i kid. Hoping you get not good, but great news tomorrow.

Enjoyed your snake progrum....i don't want nuthin' to do with that!
Got an Eye Dr appt this afternoon...hopefully he'll tell me I got bad vision. I need another golf excuse.
Not much here today.
I know most of you don't follow the NBA but the Clippers were down 31 in the 3rd and came back to beat Golden State. SGA played 31 minutes and had the assist for the go ahead bucket w/15 seconds left. I think Doc Rivers is gonna like him (or already does) as his PG for the future. ....just some FYI.

Will put her in my prayers, Starchief.

Sawnee, that is a sweet 50 you posted on RR.
Thank you Ben, I have always loved the shoebox Fords, especially the 1950. It goes back to my early childhood because one of my uncles had one and he had it all souped up and she would fly. I remember he would play "Hank Williams" on the radio "Hey Good Lookin'" and run her wide open. I couldn't wait to grow up to do that. I have had many really nice cars in my life but owning and showing that 1950 was so much fun. I won quite a few trophies with Old Thunder.

A few years ago I took Thunder up to Dawsonville, Georgia for the moonshine festival. This is Bill Elliott's home town and they have an annual "Moonshine Festival" car show of only cars that were used by Moonshine Runners. It is one of the best and really has some nice cars in it. "Running shine down highway 09" Here are a couple from that. I was loaded with 190 proof corn liquor.

I remember riding with my Grandmother, who drove one. They were really solid automobiles. She was a little woman, and she couldn't sit on a pillow because if she did, she couldn't reach the clutch, since it was a 3 speed on the column. She just had to look through the steering wheel.
