Yep I'm a Kentucky boy from Louisville.
They will do the same thing in the NCAA tourny as well. That is the norm for most of the teams in the SEC who have a strong showing regular season and are then just happy to be there. Make it to the tournament is there goal.
Really like the way we are playing defense. Play D like that and your offense can just be so-so, and still win by 20.
They couldn't call a hook and hold since the foul was on UK, and the Bama player clearly put his arm underneath Hagan's.

Another possibility, and one of many, if Duke wins tonight it might push the Zags to a #2 and give the ACC 3 #1 seeds. Given the bias of the NCAA towards the ACC it's not a stretch.
Yep. Win tomorrow just to make sure. But it seems the 1 seeds are pretty much set before conf tourn play starts. At least that’s what it usually sounds like to me when they talk with the committee chair on the selection show. I just don’t see them moving UVA out of the overall #1 with only 3 loses on the year. Which will give them the east. UNC/Duke winner gets the south for geographic reasons. And the Cats get the midwest. Gonzaga is twiddling their thumbs until they have to play a decent team in west bracket.
Yep, that’s part of the fun this time of year. Guessing what the committee will do. I usually end up saying “boy was I wrong”.

Wide awake with my second cup of coffee. Birds are chirping as spring is in full bloom. You can call us the Pollen State but the bees are happy. Current temperature is 67 with a high of 76 and a 20% chance of some liquid sunshine. That would be nice.
OK today is the big one. The one we have been waiting for and have circled on our calendar. This is the most important game to date as it may and probably does decide our seeding in the tournament. Both teams are aware of that. So if we show up and play to our potential we will win this one. We will have the crowd with us even in Tennessee. That is for sure.

Y'all see that young man from Owensboro, Aric Holman, just burn the nets with all those treys near the end? Wow! He kept Miss St in the game.
