You sure they belong to Sawnee? I've had to pick up at least sixty dislodged fronds with last 2 storms. Get in your laundry building. Since you built it with steel reinforced concrete walls, floor, and ceiling to handle the weight of the industrial machines you use. Or just get in the 2.5 ton pile of laundry you do each week, you’ll be perfectly safe.

Confirmed tornado. Mccracken County declared a State of Emergency. All ready under one due to flooding. Let folks do their work and thank you to first responders. Man, within 2 miles of my house. Could have seen it but I was out front watching for one from the ssw. News said it cut a 5 mile trail before it lifted. FCC.

Some surprising discoveries today....
- Found a $25.85 utility bill deposit still owed to my dad since 1987 by Central Power and Light in Mission, TX. This is apparently when he lived in Texas and operated a business here before his death.
- Daughter has $82.17 unclaimed with State of Tennessee. Looks like a dividend check from Atmos Energy. I purchased her that stock. She cashed it out. Guess she forgot the dividend.
- Mom has unclaimed money with Mutual of Omaha. I'm working it now.

I have some AT stock, my mom gave me one and over the years I have paid it forward to my children then to my grandchildren!!! Every time we have a grandchild that is the first present they get from me!

Wind has been bad in Ashland since about 4pm. Really starting to pick up now, and the bad stuff is supposed to hit around 9:30-10:00 pm. Then the temps drop like a stone. Oh boy.

Morning. The tornado has been classified as an EF 2. 125 mph winds. 300 yd wide. 16 miles long. Missed my house by 2 miles. Rain during was going sideways. Very tense during its passing thru. From the Gulf Coast. 60° this morning with a high projected for 83° I trust all who had the severe weather made it through without much damage. Trees and buildings can be replaced but not so for our D-League friends. They are irreplaceable.
Well I checked in this morning and saw Duke won. I did not watch it because I knew ESPN and the Jay Bilas crew would be hyping this game to the point it would be unbearable to watch. So I didn't. My focus is on Kentucky basketball, if our Cats take care of business we will advance and all will be OK. Just focus and play ball to your ability. Do that and the Cats win.
Today will be relaxing for me as I have nothing major planned. I always tune things down this time of year to watch college basketball. Today our Cats are up and we have a score to settle with Alabama. I was pulling for them against Ole Miss for two reasons. 1) I hate everything about Ole Miss and 2) I want revenge against Bama. Today is the day.

Good moring everyone from the Chattanooga, TN area. It's a cool 57 degrees after a night of intense storms in our area. We had some nasty storms, heavy rain and high winds, but thankfully (and mercifully?) no major damage or flooding this time in my immediate area.
Like a few others, I did not watch dook, UNcheaters, or Loserville yesterday, but it looks like dook won and Zion stole the show; just as I predicted he would come back better than ever and dominate. As UK fans, we can't or at least shouldn't worry about what our rivals are doing.
We have a game today, so let's just take care of today, and accomplish, with excellence, the task that is directly in front of us. What can "what if" and worry about these other teams all day and it does us no good.
It's fine, whatever, I don't worry about that in the grand scheme of life as it's only entertainment. I'm off from work next week and there is much to do around the house with cleaning, purging old junk, and maybe even some landscaping if we can manage a stretch of dry days.

Morning D! It was a beautiful morning when I went out and got the paper this morning@ 5 but it's already cloudy with some more rain moving later on! Man have we ever got a situation next door to me!!!! It's a rental house and you guessed it one bunch that rented turned it into a drug house, now the bunch next door the young fellar got arrested for spousal abuse stayed in jail for a while his girlfriend left she came back about a week ago and police showed up again this morning hauled him away again!!!!! I never slept with loaded guns in my house till the druggies showed up but ever since got them placed in different places ready!!! Have always got along with the owner of the house, his whole family lives around us but they don't see what we see going on!!! I have tried to buy it but they just won't sell. I have told him if he would just sell it to me I'd give him more money than he would ever get from rent money plus he wouldn't have the headaches from the house! Dang it's just irritating just having to put up with this crap!!!!!
Just checked two of my avocado trees. They are 3 years old and this is the year we can expect fruit. Both of them are loaded with blossoms and tiny green fruit. An avocado a day keeps something away. Not sure what but it sounds good

I'm facing Part 2 of the 2,500-net mile commitment -- gotta get my son back to Lexington and will take the chance to spend some hours with my parents and siblings.
Always a nervous time of the year, but I think the Cats are positioned well to handle Alabama. Then, we'll see. I'll be sky-high if UK gets through to Sunday. Nobody on the other side of the bracket scares me.
