Just saw a commercial that used the term "slow turkey" when talking about smoking cessation. I told my wife that they should have said "luke cool turkey" or just "cool turkey".
With all of our age and wisdom, why don't we form an advertising company that plays to and takes advantage of age old wisdom and the truths that experience reveals?
If one of you would take the responsibility and provide the financial support, then I would be pleased to be associated with the effort. I'm serious about my commitment. I really am!
Probably should. They sure target us by the kind of shows we watch. I forget what I was watching, but yesterday, there were 5 commercials during the break. They were one about walk-in bathtubs, one on burial insurance, one on depends, one for the AARP, and the last one was about back braces.
