Man I hope Reid Travis plays tomorrow. For good luck I'll pull this out and read Travis.

Has anyone heard of Travis practicing today or yesterday? Wednesday was an off day and if he hasn't practiced then he won't be playing.
Per the RR thread, PJ said he hasn't practiced. Take it for what it's worth. Maybe better to hold him out until the SEC tourney if that's the case. Thank God I don't have to make these decisions.

Cal isn't going to play anyone who hasn't practiced prior to the game so I guess we'll have to beat UF without him. Pretty sure we can. I bet he'll be ready to go for the tournament though. He was walking around at the ole miss game and I didn't notice a limp.

We'll beat the gators with or without him but I'm guessing that Cal will hold him out tomorrow. Maybe play him sparingly. Zion won't be playing either from the way it sounds. Duke has the #1 seed locked up regardless of what happens from here on out and I think UK has the #2 seed. With a little luck maybe the #1 seed. A Duke win against UNC tomorrow may actually help our chances.

My sources are telling me that Zion is being paid by Nike to not play and tear up any more shoes. They had to take out a loan to pay him more than Duke was willing to pay him to play. Keep it in this thread if you don't mind.

Noticed a couple of days ago that the toilet in my bathroom leaked a little when I flushed it. Bought the gasket yesterday and I suppose I'll tackle that job tomorrow before the game. I estimate about 3 beers to get it done.

What I should do is call my nephew to come and help me so I could show him how to do it. I was probably 14 or 15 when I did my first one. He has no mechanical ability and might be able to lift the toilet out of the way, but I doubt it.

I've thanked my father several times for making me do things like this around our house back in the day. Of course, I wasn't thanking him at the time.

Good morning from Orlando. Currently 59°F and clear. Expecting 83°F today and maybe a few sprinkles.

Later today, I plan on treating my cousins to a monster BBQ lunch to thank them for putting me up these past few days. Flying out early tomorrow morning.

Gators vs Cats at Rupp today. Go Cats!

We'll check back later. Y'all behave.

Good morning D-League

Beautiful sunrise this morning and another perfect weather day. It is currently a very pleasant 58° with a high projected for 81° at 2:00, game time for our Cats.

Speaking of our Cats, today we have the local team from Gainesville in Lexington. They can't run or hide in Rupp. I expect a comfortable win and hope for a safe game with no more injuries. RT is enough for this season.

I have special event I must attend with some family members at 4:00. They are all Floridians and Gator fans with a few Seminoles mixed in. I will hold my head up high and wear my Blue. Have a great day.

44.1°F and rainy.

Cats need to guard the three really good today and if they do that UK should win.

The Chief of Police while I was mayor lost his mother. So as soon as the game is over, I must go to the celebration of life service. She is Buddhist but it will be held in a Presbyterian church.

These eaglets are ready to fledge and begin their adventure.
I saw an eagle this week on the lake behind my house. They have a permanent nest about 3 miles away and seldom come around my house. I spot them maybe 3 or 4 times a year. When they fly off the wing span is incredible to witness. .

Wow, I forgot about the change. Spring ahead. The legislature in Florida is discussing doing away with the time change. I hope they do because Florida really does not need that anymore. Probably never did.

Ky probably doesn't need it either. It's bad for the farmers. That extra hour of daylight burns the crops up, in the summer.

Speaking of Brits, just saw Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen is one of my favorite bands ever. Love their music. FCC.

Purchased tickets to see them in Nashville, in August. My wife wanted to go. I really liked them, back in the day. They have Adam Lambert on vocals now. He is no Freddie Mercury, but who is? Never heard of anyone else having a 4 octave range. Lambert has a great voice, but he is no FM. Oh well, if it makes my wife happy.

Good morning! Not enough sleep for me.

Cats are gonna put on a show today at Rupp and give the people what they want heading into the postseason.

The next time you have a spare half hour or so, give this a read. It is titled "The Law" by Frederic Bastiat. I find it to be the most profound statement of truth that I have ever read, and although it was written in 1850 it is just as true today as it was then. It is timeless.

I am not looking forward to fixing the toilet today, but I am anticipating the wonderful feeling of accomplishment that will follow. It's one of those journey vs destination things, only in this case the journey will be shitty but the destination will be sublime.

Coffee was waiting on me when I woke up. It wasn't Folgers but it was still the best part of waking up.

Have a great game day!

You should be able to enjoy the game much more from Florida. Have a safe trip home.

Enjoy the game, and be haughty at the event.

That's true, and it is also the only manipulation of the Sun that man has control over. The science is settled! Look at the temperature record over the last hundred years of DST and you can clearly see the correlation with the 1 degree of temperature rise that is literally destroying the Earth.

We must do something! If not now, when? If not us, who?

I believe that Adam Lambert is just as capable a singer as FM was and can sing anything he ever sang note for note. His "problem", as far as we're concerned, is he is not Freddie Mercury. It was apparent early on when I first saw AL on American Idol that he had an iconic voice and it was equally apparent that he did not appreciate the comparison and wanted to be judged on his own merits and not against those of FM.

When he came in second on the show, I thought for sure the fix was in for him to join Queen and new music would be on the way. Brian May came on the show and talked about him and did a song with him. Oh well, at least he has toured with them some. I would prefer he sing the songs in his FM voice but I guess I understand. Sort of.
