I thought the Cats would have given the Vols a better game but it is what it is. Maybe these young guys needed to be brought down a notch before post season. Success and hype can be a negative if you get complacent. Not saying this is the case. Trying to look on the bright side. Hey, Duke lost by 16 to UNC last week without their big guy so we're not alone. I'm still pumped up. The Cats are 1 of 10 teams that can win it all IMO. Not bad odds.

Well crap. For some reason unknown to me, Johnson looked like deer in headlights. Most every player threw the ball away, lost a pass, missed more shots than usual, and just played like freshman. Oh wait, they are. Just couldn't get it going and when we did, they would score too. When we did get a stop, we couldn't score. Good game film for teaching I suppose. Let's move right along. Close to tourney and dance. It will all work out. Cats. FCC.

I'm always surprised when we lose and today is no different. Show me another 59 year old that can say that about his team.

I watch for many reasons. The struggles, the growth, the successes. The tribal comradery. These real time game dramas are just flipping fun. When healthy, victory for this young group is tween their ears. Games like today's loss are necessary to maintain our hate for the Creamsicles. I won't forget soon. Boys won't either. 2 weeks.

Good Sunday morning D-League

The sun is shining and it is going to be good Lord's Day. Temperature pretty much the same as all week. Pool temperature a cool 85.

Well our Cats got a reality check yesterday. But much much much better teams have stumbled in Knoxville, TN. The Knoxville game was the only game the Rupp's Runts lost in the regular season. Having said that though it was the way we lost yesterday. A 20 point loss in March is of concern no matter who we are playing. We not only lost, we were disoriented and humiliated. Our lack of a point guard showed as did our toughness. Too many turnovers and just stupid play. But we have the excuse most teams do not have, freshmen. We can always say we are young. So

But that is behind now and UK fans always pick it up and move forward. We will be there when the morning comes. Trust all are feeling well and spirits high.

Make it a good day.

Good morning from Orlando. Currently 70°F. Expecting another 85°F day before another front moves in tomorrow.

Them doggone Vols kicked our butt. Ugly. I watched the entire game before heading to mom's viewing. Early foul trouble hurt us too. Horrible shooting. All around ugly outing.

Funeral today at 2 pm. I need to wash a suit.

Anyway, we will check back later. Y'all behave.

God bless you AustinTXCat. We are with you in spirit today. Prayers.

39.0°F here and overcast for the fourth day in a row. No ran just overcast.

Tennessee beat the shit out of the cats. It started with 8 minutes left in the first half. PJ gets his second foul and we were only two points down. The Vols build up the lead in those 8 minutes. We could never get it back in the second half.

Free throw did not go. Herro could not shoot. Travis on the bench. Second worst loss this year.

I think you may be understating what happened Bert.

Yeah, a 2 seed gives us a better shot at playing in Louisville. If Travis would have scored about 30 points today and got 20 rebounds he might have helped us win.

IDK. I think Travis impacts the game with UT more than any other SEC team. They are so bulky on the inside that PJ gets into foul trouble early, and then he has to sit a large portion of the 1st half. That is when they built the lead. With Travis in to help battle, it gives us another body to match up with them. We were playing right with them until PJ went to the bench. When he came back we were down double digits in a very hostile environment. We weren't going to come back from that, like we did against Ark.

When we signed Reid Travis my thought was we now have a man who can match up with Williams and the Admiral. In our first game he proved his worth against them. Having him out for this game certainly hurt us. We may or may not have won with him but we had little chance without him. This game shows we need him to be 100% for the rest of the season. He was recruited to contribute what he does best.

Agree, Sawnee. He showed his worth in the first game, and proved his worth by missing the second. Obviously, I want us to beat Ole Miss, but I would rather lose to Ole Miss without him, and get a 3 seed, than to enter the tournament without him. I want him to be 100% before he plays.

Good morning from Orlando. Currently 71°F. We might see 80°F before this next cold front blows through.

I'm "moving" today over to a cousin's place closer to downtown Orlando. Better situation over there.

Game tomorrow night against the Rebels at 9 pm on ESPN in Oxford. Hope we bounce back.

We'll check back later. Y'all behave.

Good morning D League

Currently 72° High expected in low 80's°. The girl on the radio said we might get a cold front early this week that will bring the low to the 60's. Pool temperature a steady 85 degrees. Went over to the beach last night and enjoyed a beautiful, stunning sunset and a nice meal on the breezy Gulf Wife had to wear a jacket.

Well, Tennessee put it to us and showed we have a little more work to do. I agree with Bert, Ole Miss is not going to be a cake walk. They are tough and smell blood in the water on the Kentucky side. We are wounded but I still think we have a lot of fight.left in us. Go Cats

Lot's to do today so I will refill my coffee cup and face the working day.
