D-League

Come on guys! Our team does not suck! They are a good team and will turn out to be one of Cal's best yet. Too many good pieces in place to not do good. That game Tuesday was an anomaly, a perfect storm, a learning experience.

Our offense needs to make an appearance tomorrow and lay some serious points on UT. I think they realize now that Wilson needs to operate at a faster pace and that we can't be hashing out the plays while he's behind the center. Give him a package and let him decide what looks best when he sees the defense and just play ball. Our coaches seem to overthink everything and often to the point of missing the obvious.

I think we need to actually slow it down offensively and speed it up defensively. Defensive intensity seems lacking and offense was not playing together vs Duke. Too much trying to "get theirs" if you will. PJ needs to sit until he can show some fire all game long and not just after he dunks with the seeming minute flexing.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 48°F. Looking at mid-fifties later. I love it.

Our Cats survived SIU last night. We must step up the defense and play more unselfishly. Saw it a couple times with good passes which led to buckets + assists. Need more.

Chores later this morning. Looking forward to our game against the Vols at Neyland. Kickoff at 2:30 PM CST. Go Cats!

Y'all behave.

  • Good Morning, D-League
  • Currently 67º with a high of 79. Cloudy
  • Running conditions are good and coastal condition are as well.
  • Woke up to a heavy dew
  • My brother in law says it is cold in Kentucky with winter like temperatures. Why is that?
  • I am going to piddle around until kick off. This is a big game for me as when I grew up Tennessee was a huge rival with the beer barrel and pranks between the two schools. We beat them often too. Now it is not quite the rival but I still have that burn inside to: BEAT TENNESSEE
  • We always had a special meal on Tennessee Day. BBQ ribs, a hot pot of chili or Ox tail soup. I am going to pick one out in a few minutes and go to work.
  • What is going on in California right now reminds me as to why I would not live there. The people build million dollar home in a dry desert like condition with high winds common and then wonder why wild fire burn their houses down. Some places on earth were not meant for habitation unless you are a nomad and move your tent around. God bless and my prayers are with them. I trust the loss of life is only minimal because houses can be rebuilt but we only have one of us. It is a horrible thing to have to go through.
  • Stay safe D-League and put your game face on. This is TENNESSEE weekend and a win would be mighty fine. It may even warm the souls of my friends and family in Kaintuc
