Good Morning & Happy Hump

Good morning all, geesh, what a crappy week this has started out as. Got blasted in FB by Georgia, and than totally humiliated and embarrassed by Puke.

I love Cal, but he isn't a great X's and O's coach. We looked like we never practiced one hour of defense this season. How in the hell can you have such a huge game and come out and embarass yourselves with such a lack of effort? Y'all have a good day

  • Good Morning, D-Leagueanites, Wildcats and Lurkers.
  • 48º this morning in Johns Creek. Rain's gone. Pretty.
  • Hump Day.
  • Lots of sad faces out there.
  • We took an ass-whooping last night. Duke has an awesome team. That Zion. Wow. That was the worst beating since Kansas vs. Tubby's Cats. We were shooting like caca. Oh well.
  • I couldn't find the Final Boxscore for the game. If someone has it, please put it up. I'd like to see it. I thought this team could shoot. Nick Richards = 0.
  • Be safe driving today.
  • Take it easy.
  • Carry on.

  • Good Morning, D-League
  • The weather is the same as yesterday. Pleasant.
  • Our basketball team was exposed. And humiliated. Thankfully it was on election night because many people across the nation were watching the election returns and not watching our Cat got the worst ass whipping I can remember. Adolph Rupp once said, "before I allow an opponent to score 100 points on my team, I will deflate the basketball and eat it"
  • The sad thing is we have been trending as a mediocre also ran team for several years now. We hype our team on Big Blue Madness and it is all hype. You have to perform on the court. We didn't even show up last night.
  • So life goes on and now I focus on football until the end of the year. BEAT Tennessee.
  • Have a great day and look at the positive things in life. If you can read this, you were able to wake up this morning. That counts as a positive.
  • Y'all take care and pass the boiled peanuts.

Made it back home...
Only thing worse than watching that on TV was being at the game.
Yeesh!
Williamson, Barret, Reddish were men among boys last night. I thought Reid did his job...for the most part.
Never seen that many people (BBN) look so dejected and quiet. Talk about taking air outta the building.
Ass kicked...nothing else to say.

What the heck happened to our defense?
Duke thoroughly and physically beat the cats. Tough lesson here, their collective success depends on teamwork. The guards need to settle down, run plays and hit the jump shots. Long rebounds fueled the run outs for dunks. Reid showed up ready to play. So did Keldon, but he's green and not quite ready for prime time and played like it. The team has to learn to lose before they can learn to win. The sky continues to be the limit.

Football season has been exciting and I too look forward to each and every game. AND the basketball season has also begun and does not start back up in January. You don't have to watch our mediocre team but as an unapologetic fan, I won't miss either a football or a basketball game. Our boys are not pros . . . yet. My enjoyment is watching them grow, develop and mature into responsible mature athletes. I like collegiate sports and I expect dignity, effort and performance. I was not happy with the coaching of either team this week, but not ready to tune them out. When I no longer enjoy a broadcast product. I'll simply turn it off. Oh I might watch on occasion with a passing interest like the NFL or NBA. Right now that is not the case. I'm a full time, all in Kentucky fan. Period. And I've been this way for about 60 years.

Didn't take long to catch up here today.

Unstoppable force met a movable object last night. nuff said

Fairly pleased with the midterm elections.

Didn't officially get up until 1330 today. Feel great. Two nights in a row I only had about four hours of sleep. Made up for that last night and today.

Saw 179.5 on the scale earlier. Took a picture. Before: 0 After: l

We, as fans, put unrealistic expectations and responsibilities on these kids and when they don't live up to the standards we set, we get mad at them. We get mad at our coach because our players miss shots and make bad passes while their team hits shots and steals bad passes. Does any of that seem fair? Or logical?

This is the time of year when manatees start coming into our rivers from the Gulf of Mexico. The two small manatees swimming with their mother are twins and about a year old. Soon the rivers will be so full of manatees in some areas you can walk across their backs.

Yeah man! We were up crystal river last year swimming with them
