Ghost Vol please don’t hold anything that I may say in the next week about your Vols against me.
Right . . . Go ahead and drip.

Leagueanites. I like that term Warrior.

Ghost Vol please don’t hold anything that I may say in the next week about your Vols against me. It is just the result of nasty things that Orange has done to my Blue.

56.7°F here at 9 am. We are supposed to get some nasty weather tonight.

Tomorrow is polling day. Since I turned 18, I have never missed an election day. I even won my little runs 4 times. I still get invited to thank you dinners et.al. and Saturday was one of those times. I had not seen our Sheriff for nearly two years as I am getting too old to participate in Lions Club & other civic organization. We spent two hours talking about how rough politics have become. His name is Peanut Gaines and he has been the sheriff of Warren County Kentucky since the late 1970's. He said if he could come back as a young man he would avoid politics. I found that shocking. But then if I had it to do over again I would never run for office. Too divisive. I went into office with no enemies, now I have several.

All you folks make sure you vote.
We voted the first day Early Voting was allowed.

It must be good then because Best In Show was outstanding.

Yep, if you like that kind of humor then BIS is one of the funniest movies going.

Hey GhostCat, nothing sucks like a big orange!

Had ribs for breakfast, no egg.

I think we're supposed to have weather tonight. Whatever.

Haven't had any coffee yet. Need to fix that.

I'm not worried about Duke. They are young and probably not as experienced as we are.

Good-morning D League. I'm over the Georgia loss. In my mind coach Stoops needs to start getting some 5* players and more 4* too! WE need to sell out stadium to UK fans. I still love our team, but loosing two key players, our best D-back Mike Edwards for targeting, and offensive line man Bunchy Stalling I missed the call on that one both sent to the locker room.
We get right back to work and finish out the season on the move upward and forward. Looking forward till tomorrow UK_duke! GO big Blue!

Some one else on here came up with leagueanites, I stole it from them.

Biological father died today about midday. Save the sentiment, no emotional attachment because he left us when I was about 6 or 7 never to return. My brothers and sister saw him a few times in recent years but I never did, many stories and a couple of memories of him beating my mother. Had no wish to ever see him. Anyway, my wife looked up some records and found another sister and brother from him and the brother has a long record of criminal offenses and even spent some time in the Maricopa Arizona complex some years back. Man I really like ole sheriff Arpaio (spelling). Anyway, he is 7 years younger and my wife found a picture and swears we could almost be twins. I told her that when I die you can.....she stopped me there and told me she was going to kick my butt. Ahhhh, fun times.

Wow I'm not sure how to respond other than I'm sorry you had to go through that at a young age. Really sorry for your Mom too.

Looks like Cal and Brad have a pretty good cover story for Brad's redshirt. Makes sense.

By this time tomorrow night we will all STILL be waiting for our game to start.

Going to pick up Dad in the morning and take him to vote. Hope it goes smoothly.

Bert, I’m going to make it a point to get Anna to Kentucky/Tennessee before she gets too too big. As I have posted before, I didn’t have kids of my own so I am loving being a grandpa! Anna’s mom and Nana were teasing me Sunday about never saying no to Anna. And to rub it in with salt, they went straight to the filly’s mouth...”Princess, does Papa Terry ever say no to you?” Her answer? “No!”

I’m sunk.

Good morning D-League

Big day today. Looking out of the window the skies are blue and it looks like a typical Florida November day ahead. Temp now 72 and a high of low to mid 80's. Doesn't look like rain is in the forecast for today by looking out of the window. The weather girl may know more because she has a big radar machine.

So we have Duke tonight. I am anxious to see how we play against the "Nation's Darlings" ESPN's favorite team will be a challenge for us but I am confident we will post a "Big Victory"

It is election day in our little corner of the world. Nobody can argue we do not have a choice in our race because the candidates are at the exact opposite of the political spectrum. We have a real choice. Get out and vote. As the picture below shows, the boys are getting the jugs filled and will be at your local election grounds passing out shine. In the event you get thirsty and need a reason to vote for someone.

For those who are ailing this morning may you get well soon. All be careful and drive defensively.

52.2° F here. We got dumped on last night beginning around 9:45 pm CST. My rain gauge registered 2.25 inches. We has some really hard gusts of wind and there in not a leaf left on my cherry trees and few on the hack berry.

Big game tonight. As Austin said I wish it was on a little earlier.

I am glad that the Championship Classic is going to be extended. It is good for UK and for basketball.

You guys and gal go vote if you have not already done an early ballot. As they say in Chicago: "vote early, vote often".

I'm going to vote this afternoon after I drop off Dad. Funny thing, when I go vote the first thing they ask for is my ID. More often than not, I know the person who asks me for it and they know me. Just like when someone asks to see my ID when I use my check card, I gladly show it and thank them for asking.

Good morning all! Wish I were in Indy for the game tonight. When we lived in KY I went to most of these games. My sons are already complaining about the late start time. One of them has to get up at 5 the other 5:30 to go to work. We have July like weather down here now, wish it would go to November weather. LOL. Hope all Y'all have a great day, will check in later

Good morning everyone!
I voted last Monday...didn't want to mess with the lines.
Sunday: golf scramble (breezy, cool & moist), drank more than I should have in order to stay warm:rolleyes:. Lost phone, found it yesterday afternoon....outside in the rain. I'm an idiot!
The real kicker is the tickets for tonight's game are downloaded on my phone so.......I'm an idiot! Luckily everything still works! Good to go.
Leaving today around noon to head up to Indy.
Did I mention that I'm an idiot?

Remember the good old days, when we didn't have to worry about a damn phone? Now if i leave the house without it, I feel compelled to turn around and go back to get it. When my wife and I were young, We drove to California for her to attend UCLA to get her Doctorate. Didn't have Google maps, or a cell phone...LOL. Just used an old fashioned road map

Like most Kentuckians, I've got that nervous feeling today, and it ain't because I suspect a huge number of scoundrels will be elected across the country.

I spent all summer supremely confident about the Duke game, now I have the jitters. Time to shake that off. We're going to see the team that beat professionals in the Bahamas and shot the lights out in teh Blue-White game tonight. Cats by double digits.

Yes. I know everyone in the polling place here (hopefully they used to vote for me) and I have to show proof. They already have the list turned to my or my wife's name, but you must show proof.

I still keep an up to date Rand McNally "Southeast US" map in the vehicle. They make sense to me when you want a "holistic" view of where you are and where you are going. I also have a Garmin on the dash but it is too "micro" and the map is "macro".

Cell phones are wonderful and I also don't leave without them, but often mine is turned off so I am not a slave to it.
