D-League

Jawja is definitely the better team.

Cats aint bad though...

NO! We're not. Georgia might just be the best team in America this year. We lost to them because we are not the best team in America this year. We are better than we've ever been though.

We'll see this situation again and someday we'll have a different result. It will all seem more worth it than it does now but I'll take this for the time being.

Pulling for Mizzou now to keep us in sole possession of second place. Should help our bowl bid with a Gator loss.

We're going to get a good bowl. I know for sure that the Outback Bowl wants us back and if no one else bigger takes us first, they will. A friend of mine is the brother of a heavy hitter there and they're pulling for us. I was there the last time and I would say that was the most profitable day in their history. We drank them out of beer. Totally.

Y’all got my Vols next week.

Folks, don’t hate me, but this is the difference between a bunch of 5 star players and a bunch of 3 and 4 star players. Any decent coach with Alabama or Georgia roster, is going to win 90 % of their games. Good players make good coaches
Your post got me thinking. How many 5-star players has UK had? Matt Elam? Is that it? And he was 4-star in some ratings. He didn't exactly live up to expectations.

Well, Kentucky high school football has 8 seniors this year that are 4 star or better, we got one of them. And i'm watching as I type this, two 5 star players from Ky starting for Alabama. I don't get it

Good Sunday morning D-League.

The disappointment of losing to Georgia is still with me but the sun will come up this morning. But an hour later than yesterday. I am putting this loss in the back of my mind and focus now on the team in Orange. We have many years of losses to make up for and we may as well win Saturday. No reason we can't beat them at Knoxville and win out the rest of the schedule. 10-2 would be an outstanding season for us.

Everyone have a nice Lords Day and stay safe. If you are ailing I pray for your good health and spirits

BEAT TENNESSEE.

Morning all, tough day yesterday. That game served as a barometer to how far we have to go as a program to beat the big boys. Time to move on and get ready for Tuesday night.
I'm kind of disappointed how many UK folks sold their tickets to Georgia fans. There were WAY TOO MANY Georgia fans in Commonwealth stadium. So, today begins Tennessee hate week, which in our home was always 52 weeks a year!

Hope everyone has a nice, pleasant Sunday. Hope all you folks ailing get to feeling better. Have a great day! GO CATS!

Hello, I've been awake long enough to get my coffee off the stove and catch up on posts.

We're looking at a 9 or 10 win season! We've had a helluva season so far and it's not ever yet. We were hoping against hope that we could beat UGA, and although it was possible it was never very probable. But at least we had hope.

We've got Wilson for 2 more years after this one. I think he'll be upgraded by the time we play our first game next year. He's basically a true freshman this year. He'll learn to get rid of the ball in a timely manner and not take as many sacks.

All in all I'm happy with the way the football program is turning around, I would assume most people are. In fact, if I temper my expectations for this program with my experiences of the past, then you could say I'm elated.

We were whistling past the graveyard and, deep down, we all knew it.

UK has dug itself out of a deep deep hole and has achieved some degree of respectability. When we can successfully recruit the best Ky high schoolers (we can't yet) and get the best of the big boy leftovers out of Ohio etc, we can step higher. We can't afford to collapse back to usual next season.
